Responsibilities
Serve as the on-site safety representative supporting the contractor, ensuring compliance with all project, client, and regulatory safety requirements.
Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and safety documentation.
Implement, monitor, and enforce project-specific safety plans, procedures, and PPE requirements.

Must be able to pass pre-employment screening which may include a physical, background check, and drug screen.
Bachelors Degree preferred, but not required.
Ability, Skills, and Knowledge
Extensive understanding of safety principles and regulatory compliance requirements evident through currently holding or previously held (with ability to regain) certifications in First Aid, CPR, DOT, OSHA and MSHA Part 48/46, and RCRA.
Knowledge of auditing and inspection expectations with regulators / agencies.
Knowledge of engineering calculations for permitting, reporting, compliance and to support project goals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites with accurate data entry skills.
Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, while building rapport with team members and external agencies.
High level of integrity and commitment to comply with all applicable federal / state / industry compliance, record keeping, regulations and standards.
Due to the nature of this position, it is essential that the teammate be available to report to the designated work site / office and be ready to begin work when scheduled.

Job Summary: The primary purpose of the Project Safety Coordinator is to minimize the risks of job related accidents and to promote health and safety at a designated project location.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Attend safety walks, inspections, regular meetings that may be required onsite

Ensure daily briefing/ Pre-task Plans /JHA's are being performed onsite
Oversee regular safety toolbox talk meetings
Implement site specific safety plans and JHA's for high-risk activities
Perform daily visual inspections of the jobsite in addition to weekly documented site safety inspections
Perform behavioral based safety observations on a regular basis per NTI procedures
Manage and upload all project safety documentation within project owner's online portal
Perform other project related safety duties as needed
Saturday work may be required based on project schedules and site demands.
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience with PowerPoint, Excel and auditor safety software
Understanding of federal, state and city safety requirements, including OSHA

Education and Experience:
