The Safety Manager manages the DC Safety Program to ensure a safe and accident-free work environment. Promotes and builds a strong safety culture and drives the execution and continuous improvement of health and safety-related policies and training for the assigned facility. Completes evaluations to determine risk and compliance, conducts accident investigations, plans / delivers employee training, and provides guidance to Safety Team members. May also oversee First Aid stations, workers' compensation administration, and manage/support environmental assessments, RMP, WHSH and OSHA audits.Responsibilities/Duties

Manage the Safety Program for the facility, includes the areas of workers' compensation, ergonomics, safety training, accident prevention, OSHA, audiometric testing, environmental sustainability, and safety reporting.

Implement and enforce safety processes and initiatives, as directed by management and the Corporate Director EHS.
Monitor adherence to the Safety Program practices and procedures.

Communicate and collaborate with other distribution facility Safety Managers to ensure consistent communication and application of safety related policies and training.

Develop or assist in the development of Safety Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.'s).
