Accompany all safety, health, and insurance inspectors on walk through tours.

REQUIREMENTS:
Requires at least 10 years of heavy civil construction experience.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
Familiarity with occupational safety and health laws and regulations.
Current certification in first aid and CPR by the American Red Cross or its equivalent.
College Degree highly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 software.
The Cal OSHA certifications may be earned within 6 months of hire date.

**Your main responsibilities** :
+ Lead and manage site EHS programs ensuring compliance with OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and corporate standards.
+ Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments, investigate accidents/incidents, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
+ Develop and deliver safety training, new hire orientation, and foster a proactive safety culture across the plant.
+ Serve as the site Emergency coordinator, develop contingency plans, lead emergency drills and maintain accurate EHS records and regulatory reports.
+ Lead safety committee, harmonize EHS policies, and partner with HR and Corporate EHS on workers' compensation and compliance programs.

The salary range for this position is $97,497-$145,422. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate's profile.
