    Regional Safety Coordinator (Captive Program Oversight) SAVI EHS - Orlando, FL (Regional / Hybrid) SAVI EHS is seeking a Regional-Based Safety Coordinator to manage and operate a captive safety program supporting multiple general contractors and trade partners across active construction projects. This role provides regional field oversight while partnering closely with GC leadership to develop, implement, and maintain safety manuals, policies, and standardized programs. The ideal candidate is a field-experienced safety professional capable of independently managing safety operations across multiple sites while driving consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement at the program level. Key Responsibilities Regional & Field Safety Oversight Provide regional safety oversight for multiple construction projects and trades under a captive safety program. Conduct routine and unannounced jobsite inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Support GCs and trade partners in implementing OSHA-compliant safety practices and client-specific requirements. Lead site orientations, toolbox talks, and trade-specific safety training. Investigate incidents and near-misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Act as a trusted safety partner to superintendents, project managers, and trade leadership. Monitor high-hazard activities including fall protection, cranes, rigging, excavation, scaffolding, and electrical work. Captive Program & Manual Development Develop, update, and maintain company and project-specific safety manuals, policies, and procedures. Standardize safety documentation across trades and projects to support captive program consistency. Assist GCs with project-specific safety plans, JSAs, AHAs, and emergency action plans. Track program performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives. Support onboarding and qualification requirements for trades entering the captive program. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, client expectations, and contractual safety obligations. Administrative & Program Support Coordinate regional site visit schedules and training coverage. Maintain safety documentation, inspection reports, training records, and incident logs. Prepare weekly and monthly safety performance reports for GC and client leadership. Support compliance tracking including certifications, training credentials, and background requirements. Provide ongoing administrative support to SAVI EHS leadership and regional project teams. Qualifications OSHA 30 required; OSHA 510, OSHA 500, CHST, or equivalent certifications preferred. 3+ years of experience in construction safety, EHS coordination, or regional safety roles. Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple projects, trades, and general contractors. Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1926 standards and high-risk construction activities. Experience developing or maintaining safety manuals, policies, and programs. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digital compliance systems. Ability to travel regionally as required.
