Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor's degree in environmental, health and safety, engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred. Current certification and training commensurate with a practicing safety professional in environmental health and safety. Ability to successfully execute, manage, prioritize and delegate projects; remain calm and effective in emergency or difficult situations; and to exercise fiscal responsibility in planning, develop and working within budget. Two or more years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety compliance and management systems, preferably in a similar industry. Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, laws, and standards such as OSHA, EPA, etc. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. A high level of initiative, self-motivation, and accountability. Experience with lean production systems is desirable.
