The primary function of this role is to ensure the effective function of environmental, health, safety and security support to operations. Champions environmental, health and safety initiatives in order for the company to comply with related requirements and implement best practices. Works independently and with other areas on environmental and safety projects to create a safe workplace by conducting field observations, inspections and providing guidance on executing work safely. **Primary Responsibilities:** * Reviews existing EH&S policies and procedures, general operating procedures for safety concerns, and makes recommendations for improvement based on current standard methodologies. * Implements and maintains safety initiatives to ensure compliance and company's requirements. * Promotes safety culture among employees across all company levels by conducting regular safety meetings, giving timely feedback and implementing safety suggestions. * Oversees the development, coordination and implementation of safety training for all EH&S topics. * Manages third-party safety consultant contract to maximize service resources. * Supports all areas to implement EHS actions as a result of inspections, audits and project improvements. * Conducts job and equipment hazard analysis.
