The Impact You Will Make:
Reporting directly to the Director of Environmental Health and Safety, the Environmental Health Safety Manager will be responsible for partnering with the corporate EHS team, the site operations team, and HR to execute company policies and initiatives and to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local safety, health and environmental regulations. A successful site EHS manager will demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with their facility operations team and inspire change through floor level presence and leadership.
A Typical Day:
Establish and manage protocols to ensure high-performing EHS compliance and culture
Support facility leadership in identifying priorities, objectives, and targets to align with corporate strategies and in developing a strong safety culture.
Deploy, and monitor all EHS programs, procedures, policies, and standards complying with jurisdictional and company EHS requirements.
Mentor and coach direct reports and facility leadership teams to improve technical skills in safety and environmental areas.
Use available tools and dashboards to report for internal tracking and government reporting requirements.
Develop procedures for and oversee/monitor recordkeeping and environmental data collection to ensure compliance.
Partner with the EHS Director and Human Resources to optimally manage injury/illnesses cases, manage effective restricted work programs, and safely return employees to work, consistent with necessary restrictions.
Manage facility-level regulatory agency inspections and interactions
Review and investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes, develop and implement corrective actions.
Develop training aids and other forms of documentation and provide environmental, health and safety training as required by applicable regulations.
Conduct frequent site audits to identify all non-compliant equipment and/or processes and implement solutions to eliminate exposure to identified risks.
Establish and provide leadership to the facility safety team(s).
Your Expertise:
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing environmental health and safety compliance at the facility level in a manufacturing environment.
Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local regulations and standards governing hazardous waste (large quantity), air permitting, stormwater permitting, wastewater permitting.
Experience interacting with federal, state and local governmental agencies, compliance, and regulations (e.g., US EPA, DOT, OSHA, SC DES).
Experience with the preparation and submission of EPCRA Reporting.
Demonstrated experience in fostering facility-level safety cultural change and in leveraging multiple approaches to help people adopt and implement sustainable change
Develop and perform JSAs.
Develop and implement safety programs and protocols.
Advanced communication and presentation skills.
Ability to function independently in a leadership role and to interact positively and openly with employees, supervisors and other facility leaders.

Position Summary
The EHS Manager develops, implements, and sustains environmental, health, and safety programs that ensure every team member goes home safely, protects the environment, and maintains compliance with federal, state, and local agencies. This role leads safety initiatives, manages hazardous materials and environmental compliance, and fosters a proactive, safety-first culture across FN America. As the EHS subject matter expert, the manager drives continuous improvement, develops EHS talent, and partners with operations and leadership to embed safety and sustainability into all processes.
Job Duties
Safety & Health Compliance
Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
Develop, implement, and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures to mitigate risks and promote a safe work environment.
Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and integrate risk controls into standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Oversee industrial hygiene programs (e.g., exposure monitoring, respirator fit testing, hearing conservation) appropriate to manufacturing operations.
Lead Tier 1 and Tier 2 safety boards, using leading indicators and KPIs to proactively drive safety improvements.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments; identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Manage accident and incident investigations, including root cause analyses, and corrective action plans.
Develop and deliver safety training programs to ensure regulatory compliance and employee knowledge.
Manage and maintain records of workplace injuries, near-misses, and safety compliance documentation.
Develop, implement, and routinely test emergency response and preparedness plans.
Ensure all emergency systems, safety equipment, and evacuation routes are maintained, functional, and accessible at all times.
Environmental Compliance & Sustainability
Ensure compliance with EPA and all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including those governing hazardous waste, air emissions, and water quality.
Manage environmental permits and reporting requirements (e.g., air, stormwater, hazardous waste generator status), maintaining accurate records of renewal dates, conditions, and regulatory contacts.
Coordinate hazardous waste shipments and manifesting, ensuring cradle-to-grave tracking and compliance.
Partner with chemical suppliers and internal process owners to ensure proper management of chemicals and hazardous waste streams.
Develop and oversee programs for the safe management of chemicals, solvents, and process-related materials used in production operations.
Implement environmental sustainability initiatives to reduce waste, energy consumption, and environmental impact.
Serve as the primary contact for environmental inspections, audits, and reporting, ensuring timely communication and documentation with regulatory agencies.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Manage, develop and coach a team that connects with employees and develops a safety-first culture through action and influence.
Collaborate with OPEX and continuous improvement teams to identify and eliminate safety and environmental risks through Lean initiatives.
Integrate EHS best practices into daily operations and expand our knowledge and awareness as a means of building a safety-first culture.
Serve as the primary point of contact for EHS-related concerns, offering guidance and solutions to employees and management.
Construct, document and communicate a comprehensive EHS program.
Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Educational and Experience Requirements
A bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, environmental science, industrial engineering is required with five years of progressive experience in environmental, health, and safety roles, with at least two years in a leadership capacity. Experience in a manufacturing environment required. Firearms or defense industry experience strongly preferred; or

**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**

Coordinate with the Employee Health Center (EHC) and affected Greenlink divisions to ensure all DOT/FTA drug and alcohol testing requirements are met. Qualifications
Job Requirements
* Bachelors degree in industrial hygiene, occupational safety, or a related field that provides the skills and abilities to meet the requirements of the position.
* Documented experience may be substituted on a two (2) for one (1) basis.
* Over four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in transit safety and CDL operator training.
* Must have or obtain OSHA 30-Hour certification within one (1) year of hire.
* Must have or obtain South Carolina Certified Third Party Tester for CDL within one (1) year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

The Job You Will Perform:
* Responsible for leading systems, processes and procedures that promote a positive safety culture, which results in an injury free and healthy workplace. About this Role
A Safety Coordinator for Irby Construction Company (Legend Foundation Services) should possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the Safety and/or Training field and a minimum of two (2) years of continuous Powerline Foundation Installation/construction and maintenance experience. What You'll Do

* Inspect climbing equipment, fall protection equipment, rigging practices, rigging equipment, personal protective equipment, rubber, and plastic insulating equipment.

* Use as a guide all appropriate federal, state and company manuals to determine regulatory and policy compliance.
* Inspect facilities, vehicles, and equipment to ensure the presence of required firefighting equipment, first aid supplies required safety equipment and placards, signs, warning labels and current inspection labels.
* Coordinate with customer representatives, insurance carrier loss consultants and federal or state agencies to perform site inspections.
* When safety policy noncompliance or unsafe behavior is observed, correct issues and report to Superintendent or Project Management.
* Coordinate with project supervision to develop a project safety committee and act as the facilitator on that committee.
* Coordinate with project supervision to schedule weekly project safety meeting, daily job briefing, and tailgate safety meeting as needed.
* Work in conjunction with project safety committee to investigate safety violations, accidents and near miss incidents, determine root cause of accidents, and coordinate with project and senior management to develop corrective and/or preventative measures.
* Performs job hazard analysis to determine site specific hazards and coordinate with all levels of project supervision to eliminate, guard, and protect employees, customers, and the general public from recognized hazards.
