Ensure safety violation reports are completed and submitted accurately and on time.
Verify and maintain up-to-date OSHA 10 certifications for employees overseeing job sites.
Oversee the completion and submission of competent person forms for new crews, notifying site superintendents for each job site.
Safety Program Coordination
Coordinate and track completion and submission of toolbox talks for all relevant personnel.
Track and manage monthly safety audits for each job site, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
General Support
Support weekly safety audits conducted by Luis, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.

Position Requirements:
1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in construction or a related field (entry-level candidates with relevant skills encouraged to apply).

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and work with cross functional teams to assure PSM programs where needed.
Input safety related information into the AS400 computer system to include: PPE, cleanup and disposal, first aid, chemical container labeling (HMIS).
Order PPE and related equipment for the facility that is used daily for the protection of employees from hazards.
Perform reporting and other task as required by company SOP's and regulatory agencies
Maintain regulatory permits for DOT-PHMSA, FDEP, FDOH, FL SERC, USEPA, USEPA-FIFRA, and Pinellas County Industrial Pretreatment Program,
Must be available to be on call

Requirements:
A minimum of five (5) years in Dredging or Marine Construction Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO) Experience
A minimum of Three (3) years of continuous construction as a SSHO on USACE Marine Construction Projects.
Health Officer (SSHO) experience is required.
In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA/EM 385-1-1) and procedures
Develop AHA documents on site with Project Team
Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus
Outstanding organizational skills
Diligent with great attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
BS/BA in safety management, engineering or relevant field is preferred
Instructor-signed OSHA 30- hour training CARD
OSHA 30, EM 385-1-1 certified
