JOB SUMMARY: The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist will provide EHS support to operations and management across various projects, including civil work, closure and demolition, drilling services, excavation, onsite treatment, and plant decontamination and remediation. This role is responsible for fostering a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, supporting the implementation of company and client safety programs, and driving continuous improvement in all aspects of health and safety performance. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support field and project operations by promoting safe work practices. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations applicable to environmental, industrial, civil, demolition, and remediation projects. Track, maintain, and analyze project-specific safety metrics, incident trends, and leading indicators to support continuous improvement. Contribute to the preparation and review of project-specific health and safety plans (HASPs), job hazard analysis plans (JHAs), work permits, and risk assessments. Represent the company professionally during client, contractor, and regulatory audits, inspections, and meetings. Deliver EHS training, including safety orientations, toolbox talks, task-specific instruction, and compliance-based training (HAZWOPER, fall protection, heavy equipment, demolition safety, etc.). Maintain and manage employee training records to ensure compliance with safety training requirements. Attend operational and project planning meetings to provide safety input and address potential hazards. Manage exposure monitoring programs, including air, noise, and dust monitoring for activities such as soil excavation, demolition, and decontamination. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management. Job Description This role will require the incumbent to travel extensively in Georgia and Florida The Regional Hyperbaric Coordinator is responsible to manage all aspects of hyperbaric component in the wound care and hyperbaric centers as assigned by senior leadership including traveling to provide start-up consultation and training as needed. With a customer service focus, the Regional Hyperbaric Coordinator will provide center consultation and hyperbaric oversight, staff and patient training of the hyperbaric component. Summary: Provides technical expertise, training, and incident investigation review, coordination of post-incident treatment and screening, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation and site safety assessments/inspection/audits at assigned jobsite. He/she works closely with employees who have injuries to support their return to full-duty, ensures compliance with state and federal OSHA regulations, and facilitates a culture of health and safety care. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Assist field supervisors in the development of plans, systems and training that develop local, competent, and caring safety personnel and resources. Conduct inspections at their assigned jobsite(s) including inspection of work areas and equipment; observing employee work practices and improving safety preparedness to ensure employees are equipped with the training, tools, and equipment necessary to work safely. Coordinate field employee medical treatment for injury response utilizing company medical treatment protocol. Identify corrective actions necessary to bring job sites into compliance with applicable codes, laws, regulations, and standards, and explain these measures to others. Assist supervisors with the timely completion of required Accident Reports. Review incident investigations to ensure causes and corrective actions have been addressed. Take lead role in creation of Root Cause Maps in response to workplace incidents. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Assist in the preparation of safety documentation including pre-task planning forms, Site Specific Safety Plans, jobsite safety inspections and various permits. Provide assistance with work activities that require permits, including Confined Space, Hot Work, etc. Conduct safety training and support for assigned jobsite(s). Conduct OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 classes, as required. Conduct Supervisor Safety Training, as required. Coordinate tasks and functions to ensure work is performed safely in accordance with company safety policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local standards. Inspect the availability, readiness and proper use of required incident prevention procedures, safety and fire prevention equipment, protective clothing and devices, and first aid supplies. Recommend and follow up to verify the implementation of corrective actions. Identify and recommend safety equipment, material and supplies for work operations. Attend and participate in safety meetings at jobsite(s), including periodic General Contractor safety walks. Develop, assist, or conduct appropriate Job Hazard Analyses. Promote the use of the Job Hazard Boards at assigned jobsite(s). Promote Near Miss Reporting throughout all field and office locations. Assist with the implementation of corrective actions and mitigation for near misses that require follow-up action. Serve as a health and safety resource for OSHA compliance, company safety policies and procedures, and support the prevention of incidents. Other duties as assigned by Safety Director. WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION: Ability to work and utilize judgment to make decisions, independently. Ability to handle a dynamic, evolving, and fast-paced workload under deadlines. Ability to maintain a sense of urgency, but remain calm, when handling emergencies. Knowledge of current applicable State (Florida) and Federal Occupational Safety and Health regulations. Knowledge of current NEC and NFPA 70E Standards applicable to electrical work operations. Understanding of root cause analysis techniques in relation to accident investigations. Ability to deal diplomatically and communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Ability to operate company vehicle and other equipment safely, within guidelines, and with care. Presentation skills with the ability to deliver and provide educational training sessions. Knowledge of current corporate policies and procedures. Requirements: Experience, Education and Certifications: Minimum of three years safety experience in the construction, facilities, and/or industrial services industry. Certified in the safe operation of relevant construction equipment. Associate degree preferred.
