Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably required by the Manager or Supervisor Qualifications What we're looking for: Associate degree in Business Administration or related fields, or equivalent relevant experience. Must be 21 years of age or older. 1-3 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role (preferably in sales, contracts, or procurement). Experience using public procurement websites or bid tracking systems is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams) for managing reports, documents, and communications Comfortable researching online databases and working with shared documents or report Strong communication skills - written and verbal - to coordinate with internal teams. High attention to detail and organizational ability Familiarity with group purchasing organizations (Sourcewell, NPP, Vizient) is a plus but not required. Familiarity with EDI systems, payment platforms, and electronic ordering protocols is preferred Constant focus on continuous improvement, innovation and quality Familiarity with the use of ChatGPT, Grok and other AI search and research tools Interest in workplace safety, compliance, or public procurement. Collects and synthesizes data derived from pollution emission measurements, radiation monitoring & compliance, atmospheric monitoring, meteorological and mineralogical information, and soil or water samples. Reviews technical aspects of environmental projects, confers with project engineers to formulate plans, coordinate project activities, establish reporting procedures and prepare environmental project progress reports. Coordinates planning, testing, and operating phases to complete project. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting and maintaining world-class food safety and quality systems, including FSSC22000 compliance. You'll collaborate across departments, contribute to ongoing process improvements, and help ensure the company meets the highest standards in food safety and production integrity. Responsibilities • Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality and Food Safety Management System (QMS). • Gather, complete, and maintain required templates and documentation for FSSC22000 compliance. • Organize files and maintain document control within SharePoint and other digital systems. • Provide weekly progress updates on document completion and compliance projects. • Identify gaps in current practices, escalate barriers, and assist with corrective action plans. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, R&D, Operations, HR, and Leadership teams to enhance QMS programs. • Assist with internal audits, inspections, and food safety or quality-related initiatives. • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Quality & Food Safety leadership team. Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of experience in food manufacturing or the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. • Strong understanding of GFSI standards, particularly FSSC22000. • Familiarity with HACCP, FDA, FSMA, and GMP regulations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint with strong documentation and organization skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work cross-functionally. • GFSI certifications required (PCQI and Auditor Certification preferred). • Proven experience conducting gap assessments against food safety standards. • Knowledge of food safety regulatory agencies and compliance practices. • Passion for maintaining safety, quality, and a positive workplace culture.
