Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a well-developed, dedicated Safety Team across multiple facilities, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Develop, implement and improve safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Drive a culture of safety through training, leadership engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives Conduct regular safety and process audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards Provide training and education to employees Oversee investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for incidents and near-misses. Prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions. The Health & Safety (H&S) Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive H&S strategies, systems, and programs across all of Amp Americas' operations. This role will ensure compliance with relevant safety and environmental regulations, operating permits, and reporting requirements while fostering a culture of health and safety stewardship throughout the organization. The Director of H&S will drive continuous improvement in H&S performance and support the company's growth in the renewable natural gas (RNG) industry. This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer on an interim basis and work closely with the VP of Operations, the VP of Engineering and the VP of Project Delivery to ensure an independent line of communication to the executive team.
