Job Summary: inst ED provides patient-centered, high-quality acute care in place to adults with complex medical needs. Reporting to the Manager, Network Delivery, the inst ED Mobile Health Coordinator (MHC) is the first point of contact for patients who are seeking an inst ED visit. The Mobile Health Coordinator warmly greets all callers and completes a thorough and accurate intake for callers requesting a referral for an inst ED visit. The MHC assigns the visit to one of inst ED's paramedic partners based on geography and availability and monitors the physician assignment algorithm. In addition, the MHC monitors visit progression to ensure timely service delivery. Finally, the MHC assists the nursing team with non-clinical administrative support and serves as the main point of contact for paramedic partner dispatchers, paramedics, and the inst ED Virtual Medical Control (VMC) team for all non-clinical issues. Essential Functions: Answer incoming phone calls in a timely manner using a cloud-based platform. Collect accurate patient information and document in the inst ED NOW platform and Athena medical record to process an inst ED referral. Collect, review, and accept written consent from patients, upload consents from paramedics. Verify patient eligibility using inst ED NOW, Athena, or external payor portals. Collect payment(s) from patients (e.g., copay, co-insurance). Assign visits to one of inst ED's ambulance partners based on geography and availability; collaborate with nursing staff to prioritize high acuity patients. Communicate with the dispatchers from the ambulance partners to facilitate throughput of inst ED visits; convey clinical concerns/questions to the nursing team. Maintain awareness of all ambulance partner vehicle's status and location. Call patients if mobile health providers are unable to reach patients with an updated ETA; escalate to the nursing team when patients cannot be reached via phone. Make recommendations to improve the inst ED NOW platform. Monitor that VMC providers are checked in and out of inst ED NOW in a timely manner and outreach to them if this does not occur. Monitor VMC auto-assignments and manually re-assign if needed when a VMC provider is nearing the end of shift and cannot complete a visit. Complete an end of shift report before logging off at the end of a shift. Ensure that mobile health providers have completed all documentation by the end of their shift and outreach to the paramedic partner when there is outstanding documentation. Perform any other job related duties as requested. Monitor and follow up on modified workers in the field. As a direct report to, regularly communicate safety audit results and/or field safety concerns (e.g., Stop Work Authority) with the Director of Health and Safety and prepare observation reports as needed. At minimum must have 30 Hr. OSHA Training. (With willingness to get 500 Hr. OSHA Training to operate asan official component of the OSHA Construction Outreach Program.) Responsibilities and Duties: * Conduct both virtual and physical visits to perform site safety audits and safety process audits (e.g., safety document evaluation/compliance) *This should take place at least 75-80% of the week. * * Enforce all Federal, State, local, owner, and Tremco regulations throughout all regional projects. * Assist site leadership in developing site-specific safety programs aligned with Tremco Safety policies and instruct supervisors on safety procedures, planning, and equipment. * Assist the Director of Health and Safety with rolling out new safety initiatives and briefing employees as needed on new or updated policies (e.g., Daily Task Planning, 100% audit compliance, safety training programs). * Educate the workforce and regional leadership on understanding Tremco's safety cultural advancements, such as safety leadership and safety management systems. * Effectively represent our Tremco safety culture with our subcontractors and help Tremco site leadership to ensure complete compliance with our subcontractors with applicable rules and regulations (Federal, State, local, owner, Tremco, and their own). * Act as a subject matter resource for workers within the field in producing a documented assessment of safe working processes, risk potentials, and solutions/corrective measures. * Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure safety practices and policies are being adhered to effectively. * Review the safety obligations of the clients and ensure they are carried out as per the terms of the agreement, and communicate to the Field Leadership and Safety Supervisors. * Assist the Director of Health and Safety with EHS Notification and Incident Investigation processes, as well as implementation of response action items. * Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately per the Tremco Incident Notification Policy. * Participate and assist all field leadership in the investigation of incidents to determine the root cause, and take corrective actions where necessary. * Ensure incident corrective actions are followed up on and completed. * Ensure injured workers are offered modified duties, and documentation has been completed. * Monitor and follow up on modified workers in the field. * As a direct report to, regularly communicate safety audit results and/or field safety concerns (e.g., Stop Work Authority) with the Director of Health and Safety and prepare observation reports as needed. * At minimum must have 30 Hr. OSHA Training. (With willingness to get 500 Hr. OSHA Training to operate asan official component of the OSHA Construction Outreach Program.) * Ensure all new employees within the Region meet their training objectives, e.g., complete their Day 1 Orientation, iLead New Employee Training, and Tremco (OSHA) Construction 10 Hr. Training within 1 month of their employment.     Handshake is recruiting Occupational Health and Safety Technician professionals to contribute to an hourly, temporary AI research project-but there's no AI experience needed. In this program, you'll leverage your professional experience to evaluate what AI models produce in your field, assess content related to your field of work, and deliver clear, structured feedback that strengthens the model's understanding of your workplace tasks and language. The Handshake AI opportunity runs year-round, with project opportunities opening periodically across different areas of expertise. Details The position is remote and asynchronous; work independently from wherever you are. The hours are flexible, with no minimum commitment, but most average 5-20 hrs The work includes developing prompts for AI models that reflect your field, and then evaluating responses. You'll learn new skills and contribute to how AI is used in your field Your placement into a project will be dependent on project availability-if you apply now and can't work on this project, more will be available soon. Qualifications You have at least 4 years of professional experience in one or more of the following types of work. The examples below reflect the types of real-world responsibilities that you might have had in your role that will give you the context needed to evaluate and train high-quality AI models Evaluate situations and make determinations when workers refuse to work due to perceived danger or potential harm. Supply, operate, and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE). Train workers in safety procedures related to green jobs, including fall protection and proper ventilation during wind turbine construction. Test workplaces for environmental hazards such as radiation, chemical or biological exposure, and excessive noise. Maintain required environmental records and documentation. Provide consultation to organizations or agencies on workplace safety principles, practices, and techniques. Inspect fire suppression and portable fire systems to ensure proper working condition. Verify availability and monitor use of safety equipment, including hearing protection and respirators. Recommend corrective measures based on environmental contaminant analysis results. Prepare or review specifications and purchase orders for safety equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Prepare or calibrate equipment used to collect or analyze environmental and safety samples. Conduct worker studies to determine whether illnesses or diseases are job-related. Plan and conduct emergency response drills. Examine credentials, licenses, and permits to ensure compliance with licensing requirements. Review records and reports related to laboratory results, staffing, floor plans, fire inspections, and sanitation for safety enforcement and planning. Educate the public on health issues and enforce health legislation to prevent disease and promote health awareness. Prepare documentation for legal proceedings and provide testimony when required. Collect data on potential hazards associated with new equipment or products used in green practices. Maintain logbooks of daily activities, including site visits and tasks performed. Assist in directing rescue or firefighting operations during fires or explosions. Test or balance newly installed HVAC systems to ensure indoor air quality standards are met. Confer with schools, state authorities, and community groups to develop health standards and programs. Collect data related to ecological and human health risks at brownfield sites. Conduct interviews to gather information on communicable diseases or violations of health and sanitation regulations. Perform tests to identify hazards related to recycled products used at green building sites. Examine practices at green building sites to assess how adherence to green building standards impacts worker safety. You're able to participate in asynchronous work in partnership with leading AI labs.
