A non-sworn uniformed position with the responsibility of parking enforcement, traffic direction and control, vehicle searches, personnel searches and screening, and provides assistance to the airport community in dissemination of information and directions. The Public Safety Assistant also performs security queue management and oversight, and acts as a public liaison for direction, control, and flow in coordination with KCAB, air carriers, and the Transportation Security Administration. General Summary -We seek a Safety Technician to assist with program updates and provide safety support to construction operations. The Temporary Confined Space Attendant / Administrative Support employee will provide safety support during confined space operations and assist with general administrative and production-related tasks when not actively serving as a confined space attendant. This role is critical in ensuring the safety of employees performing work in confined spaces while also contributing to organizational efficiency through various support functions. Primary Responsibilities: Confined Space Attendant Duties: Monitor and safeguard the safety and health of the confined space entrant(s) during all confined space operations. Maintain continuous communication with entrants and ensure compliance with all confined space entry procedures. Be familiar with and follow the company's Emergency Response Plan and Safety Training Handout. Never enter the confined space under any circumstances. Maintain awareness of all hazards and monitor atmospheric testing results.
