**What You'll Do:**
+ Responsible for developing an annual compliance plan for all client prequalification platforms that includes variances and proactive engagement for non-compliance criteria that may impact grades or statuses.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert in contractor prequalification, CBRE supplier prequalification, client data RFP, audit and variance processes.
+ Partner with CBRE Risk Insurance, Procurement and HSE Transitions to ensure processes for client specific insurance requests or data requests are consistent.

+ Serves as a project manager with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships and influence through expertise, data and model behavior consistent with the company's RISE values and is detail and deadline oriented to influence HSE culture.

**What You'll Need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of experience in occupational safety, public health, law, industrial hygiene, science, engineering, or related field. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Masters Degrees in a health and safety discipline or an MBA are a plus.
+ 5-7 years of progressive global management experience including HSE or related management functions preferred.
+ Professional background with systems implementations, assurance, data, injury and illness classifications and recordkeeping.

Position Overview:
The scope is to provide process safety leadership to the Ecovyst corporation in the United States (9 Sites). The supported locations are Baton Rouge, LA; Baytown, TX, Hammond, IN; Houston, TX; Long Beach, CA; Martinez, CA; Orange, TX; Portland, OR; and Waggaman, LA. The process safety manager will sit in either Houston, TX or Baton Rouge, LA and will have two direct reports.
What you will be doing:
The position is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing support of the Risk Based Process Safety (RBPS) Management System, and assures compliance with internal requirements and applicable OSHA, EPA, and local process safety regulations.
* Implement, maintain, and improve the Process Hazard/Safety Management Program (PHMP/PSMP).
* Understand and ensure compliance with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA Risk Management Progam (RMP) and any applicable local regulations (e.g., CalOSHA, CalARP).
* Lead and develop the Process Safety Team. Provide a high level of internal customer service to Manufacturing and Engineering.
* Liaise with industry peers and subject matter experts to benchmark and learn current best practice trends. Represent the company on the CCPS Technical Steering Committee.
* Oversee and maintain procedure drafting, approval, & publishing stage gate process.
* Maintain the network's Process Safety library and serve as document controller.
* Ensure development and administration of adequate initial and refresher process safety training materials and tools for all levels of the organization.
* Manage and optimize the Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) element, especially revalidations. Ensure (1) PHAs are scheduled well in advanced and maintain master PHA schedule; (2) PHA facilitators, scribers, and participants are engaged and well trained; PHA reports are reviewed for accuracy, thoroughness, and consistency; (3) actions plans are accurate and issued timely; (4) PHA actions are driven to completion promptly; (5) PHA action reports are issued and utilized for continuous improvement and risk reduction.
* Ensure initial PHA for major risk projects (e.g., Capital) are conducted, reports are accurate and promptly issued, and risks are resolved prior to startup commensurate with risk level.
* Manage Facility Siting Study program.
* Ensure Risk Management Plans (RMPs) are revised and resubmitted as needed. Assist with updating and consequence modeling as needed.
* Oversee the Process Safety Audit program, schedule, reports, and recommendations. Periodically participate in audits to identify and share network solutions, and build relationships with auditors.
* Conduct field gemba walks.
* Support sites during regulatory agency inspections or possible violations.
* Monitor for changes in applicable standards (e.g., RAGAGEP, regulations) and create communication and compliance plans.
* Oversee and drive effectiveness of the Management of Change (MOC) Program including organizational/personnel and procedure change programs.
* Oversee and drive effectiveness of the Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) program.
* Ensure Process Safety participates in Process Safety Event investigations and teams are identifying appropriate causes and actions to drive lasting improvement.
* Build competency and vulnerability across the organization with internal lessons learned, CCPS Beacons, CSB Investigations, and or similar tools.
* Ensure Process Safety Metrics are identified, published, and well communicated.

Minimum 10+ years of related experience in EH&S, Maintenance or Production roles in a chemical manufacturing environment.
5+ years in an EH&S leadership role required.
Experience with PSM-covered processes required Integrated multi-facility site experience highly preferred.
Louisiana, Texas, or Gulf Coast regulatory experience highly preferred.
Ability to offer subject matter expertise in all aspects of Process and Personal Safety, Health, Security and Environmental issues.
Knowledge of OSHA PSM, DOT, EPA RMP and RCRA waste regulations required.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills across all organizational levels.
Strong US regulatory/compliance experience.
Experience managing regulatory operating permits and licenses (i.
e.
, Federal Title V, NPDES, Radiation, etc.
) Crisis management experience and adaptability under pressure.
Must be able to obtain or currently hold a valid Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) and possess a valid US driver's license.
