As a safety representative, your role is to support the client through consistent field engagement and real-time hazard identification. Your observations are essential in bridging the gap between daily operations and our clients' formal safety management structure. Your responsibility is to

Lead safety meetings/toolbox talks
Conduct daily site visits; identify and correct hazards
Complete 4+ Work Area Evaluations per day
Document all findings (unsafe acts, positive behaviors, corrective actions, photos)
Investigate incidents/near misses; report and maintain OSHA documentation
Report all findings, including: Unsafe acts or conditions, Positive safety behaviors, and Corrective actions (taken or required)
Include photographic documentation and follow up until resolution is verified.

Actively participate in PTP reviews and work scope audits throughout the day.
Compensation:
$40/hr to $50/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Keep up to date on current federal, state, and local legislation and regulation changes; maintain knowledge of current and emerging issues and trends in safety.
Collect, investigate, and communicate all incident reports and propose solutions to prevent future incidents.
Distribute, coordinate, and track all new and ongoing safety related programs, certifications, and paperwork for project sites.
Assist in setting and achieving safety goals on assigned project site(s). Ensure all safety communication is complete, thorough, and accurate with safety resources available to maintain such an environment.
Prepare, submit, and maintain all safety records and ensure all teammates are up to date on training and certifications.
Promote positive relations with OSHA personnel, maintain a history of citations received and final decisions, interpret OSHA regulations as they pertain to our industry/business.
Communicate all relevant safety information to the field regarding best practices, lessons learned, monthly updates, recent OSHA events and review of accidents.
Analyze job functions, activities, procedures, equipment, and materials to discover potential exposure to injury or illness. Recommend proper equipment, materials, and techniques for prevention on a regular basis and hold regular meetings with all project teams.
Maintain and ensure all safety equipment is inspected and updated, with proper training and use of equipment.
Analyze incident project(s) data to identify trends in injuries, illnesses, accidents, or other hazards.
Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.
Any and all other duties as assigned by the Safety Manager and/or Safety Director.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
1-3 years direct construction safety experience required.
Knowledge of safety and risk management for the construction industry and regulations relating to employee safety and accident prevention.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations governing construction safety.
Willingness to train, lead teams, motivate, and have patience to retrain when needed.

Job Summary
A Project HSE Manager is an integral member of a project team and they are highly dedicated to the health and well-being of others. 3. Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Environmental Management Plan.

5. Facilitates the Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems Manual on the project.

Minimum Job Requirements

Serves as an installation expert regarding Nuclear Biological and Chemical readiness issues. Researches industrial operations and develops, implements, and executes surveillance strategies, inspections and evaluations of operational facilities and various activities to detect and eliminate health hazards. Writes industrial facility case files on installation industrial shops in accordance with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 48-145, Occupational Health Program. Executes appropriate methods and techniques of surveys. Performs base wide no-notice, spot, and special inspections of operational facilities and worksites when statistical analyses and conditions dictate need, when new equipment is to be installed, and/or when hazardous conditions exist. Follows up to ensure compliance of findings. Identifies potential physical, biological, and chemical health hazards in the workplace; evaluates exposure to workers, and prescribes corrective measures which may include changing work processes/procedures, adding/modifying engineering systems, making chemical substitutions, or using personal protective equipment. As necessary, invokes authority to cease any operation due to potentially life threatening conditions. In the case of serious or acute conditions, chronic illnesses, etc., performs follow-up interviews and provides professional guidance to the affected or involved employee(s), physician(s), hospital/clinic, and supervisor(s) to prevent future similar situations. Documents findings using complex inter-relational data basing systems. Determines and assigns Risk Assessment Code (RAC) to health hazards. Establishes RAC based on potential of significant health risks in relation to occupational health related exposure. Maintains a deficiency log. Prepares, reviews for comments/clarification, and submits AF Form 457, USAF Hazard Report, to the safety office. Reviews AF Form 457 from unit for comment and clarification and forwards to safety office. Prepares and issues AF Form 1118, Notice of Hazard, to shop supervisor and ensures its posting. Assists shop supervisor in completing AF Form 3, AF Hazard Abatement Plan, for hazards identified by RAC 1, 2, or 3. Monitors the abatement of occupational health hazards to ensure corrective action has been initiated. Maintains record of occupational health-related RAC 4 and 5 hazards until appropriate corrective action is completed. Reviews plans for new and existing facility construction projects. Ensures applicable OSHA, AFOSH, and EPA criteria are incorporated and notes where deficiencies are, recommending appropriate changes to facilities environments that would assure integration of occupational/environmental health and industrial hygiene controls to prevent adverse health and environmental impact.
2. Manages and assesses installation environmental sampling, analysis and monitoring requirements, and performs ambient, source and substance tests and monitoring. Compiles and evaluates pollution emission inventories to include air, waste water and hazardous materials/wastes. Determines human health impacts, works with Air Force, federal, and state officials collaboratively to ensure all laws are followed properly. Serves as the installation point of contact and coordinator for Agency Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) activities, including assembling and maintaining an inventory of information sources and documents, providing information and expert advisory services relative to ATSDR health assessments/risks, and preparing related correspondence and reports.
Develops, implements, and manages the Federal Hazard Communication Standard as mandated by OSHA.

Job Description:
The Director of Safety oversees the development and execution of safety and health programs across all partner companies, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment for all employees. This role works closely with onsite leadership at each company to promote a culture of safety and proactively mitigate risk. This position is essential in maintaining compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, DOT, and other regulations relevant to electrical construction. The Director coordinates and tracks safety training initiatives to ensure both employees and operations meet federal and internal safety standards. They take a proactive approach to safety, focusing on improving and maintaining best practices, while keeping a close eye on performance trends to address incidents or issues early.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain all current written safety programs, policies, and procedures.
Oversee and guide the company's safety program by creating and managing annual plans for training, assessments, and inspections.
Maintains company safety records, manuals, and detailed, confidential incident documentation.
Collaborate with Safety Coordinators, Managers and Team Trainers to ensure safety standards awareness, compliance, and licensing remain in good standing throughout the company.
Ensure facilities and work sites are compliant with all OSHA, federal, and state/local guidelines and requirements, and company safety standards.
Develop safety performance standards, methods of accomplishing those standards and reporting processes for ensuring compliance.
Aligns with Safety Coordinators, Human Resources, Managers and external agencies to promote safety and health awareness through job site presence, employee coaching, and regularly scheduled weekly, monthly, and annual trainings.
Advises leadership of regulatory changes which the company must meet compliance.
Oversees investigations of safety incidents-including accidents, near-misses, and injuries by identifying root causes, reviewing reports, and ensuring corrective actions and follow-up are completed.
Coordinates with Human Resources to align with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and medical providers on claims and return-to-work plans.
Ensures jobsite visits and safety audits are conducted to promote safe practices and mentor field leadership.
Monitors lost-time injuries/illnesses and Worker's Compensation Claims.
Supports company personnel in selection and application of appropriate (PPE) personal protective equipment and maintains a ready stockpile for use.
Serves as subject matter expert regarding safety best practices on a jobsite.
Serves as point of contact regarding safety response issues.
Serves as point of contact regarding OSHA compliance and safety inspections.
Completes other projects as assigned.
Competencies:
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in construction safety, preferably within the electrical or general contracting industry.
OSHA 30-Hour Certification (OSHA 500 or 510 preferred).
Certifications in NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, Fall Protection, and other relevant areas.
In-depth understanding of OSHA, DOT, and other federal/state safety regulations.
Demonstrated experience managing workers' compensation claims and incident investigations.
Knowledge of federal, state, OSHA regulations, safety equipment and proper handling of residential, industrial, commercial, and agricultural work sites.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail, prioritization skills, and capacity to handle complex responsibilities.
Independent decision-making ability.
Strong problem solving/analysis.
Extreme ownership of safety programs and practices.
Ability to collaborate with multiple industry and federal safety organizations.
Versatile leader with the ability to thrive in diverse jobsites and work environments.
Valid state driver's license.
Physical Demands:
Ability to work around operating equipment, stand and sit for long for long periods of time, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crawl, twist, bend, push, pull, and climb ladders.
Vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to travel throughout facilities and jobsites.
