This is a Night Shift Contract long-term position located on-site at our manufacturing plant in Mesquite, TX. We are looking for a candidate dedicated professional with a passion for protecting the environment and ensuring the health and safety of our team members. This is a Mid-level EHS Specialist position paying between 65k and 75k. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to report to onsite management teams and corporate-based reporting systems Support management efforts to ensure compliance with all corporate program expectations and applicable federal and state laws Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis) and new equipment introductions Responsible for recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures to management, including ergonomics Available to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and/or weekends Qualifications and Experience: 2-3 years of experience in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field AND B.Degree. ABOUT THE POSITION: The Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for supporting the Company and the Head of EHS in leading the development, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the Company's EHS program and performance. Ensure all unplanned events (incidents) are investigated to determine the root cause(s) and appropriate corrective actions are implemented to eliminate or reduce future events. Assist in, and / or facilitate, the investigation of environmental, health, and safety unplanned events (incidents). Develop, review, and update environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, training programs, and other EHS systems as necessary. Ability to work in a matrixed, team-oriented, environment. Pritchard Industries, a National Facilities Service Company, is seeking an experienced Safety Inspector. This dynamic, hands-on inspector will be responsible for performing worksite assessments to determine what kinds of risks and hazards exist and whether the site meets all regulatory compliance standards. They will implement, manage, and monitor safety programs, policies, and procedures that meet OSHA and other applicable requirements. Our projects are vertical, industrial construction projects involving multiple engineering disciplines and sub-contractor trades. Our Safety Professionals will be responsible for the safety practices of all personnel on our projects. This position requires knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety management, accident investigation and training in the construction industry.
