GENERAL PURPOSE
This role is responsible for supporting Legrand | AV's Health, Safety and Environmental programs to ensure operations minimize the impact to provide a safe and incident-free workplace. Responsible for leading and supporting the development and implementation of the Safety & Health culture throughout by leveraging technical support, program development, and relationship building. Plan and deliver programs to train managers and employees in work site safety. Analyze data to identify trends and incident types that can be prevented and implement corrective action.
This is an on-site position sitting in Warsaw, In. directly supporting the Warsaw and Blue Ash, Ohio plants.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Applies EHS practices to develop, implement and manage processes and systems. Develops best practices to drive and create a best in class culture. Provides comprehensive EHS support to the Operations team in regulatory compliance, program development and implementation, documentation, and reporting.
Communicates the EHS vision and performance to internal and external stakeholders.
Monitors federal, state, regional, and local safety and environmental regulations for impact and effective application within the manufacturing site(s).
Management and reporting responsibility for all environmental operating permits
Helps develops policies, programs and implementation strategies for Da-lite EH&S.
Collaborates with Da-Lite teams to ensure EHS requirements are implemented.
Provides leadership to achieve the EHS vision, partnering with AV management.
Conducts site risk assessments to determine and document impact to Da-lite staff and coordinates risk reduction strategies.
Implements and maintains EHS training program including: identification of training requirements, coordination of training sessions, training development and presentation.
Implements Legrand EHS Business (LNCA) & Corporate (Group) processes and systems.
Supports site needs or requests with regulatory inspections or audits.
Implements record management and retention policies to comply with regulatory requirements and corporate standards.
Audits all US based Da-lite Operations and assists with corrective actions as applicable.
Identifies risks associated with the management of Legrand contractors located on Da-lite premises.
Creates reports to assist with compliance of environmental/safety regulations and sustainability goals.
Initiate and assist with the creation, development, and implementation of processes and procedures
Consistently support compliance by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and the Company's policies and procedures
Understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace. Cooperate in safety programs, initiatives, and investigations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Attends soil assessments to assist soil scientists and designers with identifying proper locations on parcels for the installation of onsite sewage systems.
Reviews plans and drawings for the installation and connection of onsite sewage systems in accordance with all state and local laws.
Approves permits for septic, waste disposal and other environmental systems including conducting and analyzing environmental tests, examining topography, geology and reviewing and approving construction plans and issuing permits.

Consults with engineers, builders, pool operators and users.
Conducts, processes and analyzes environmental samples in the laboratory as part of environmental investigations.
Assists Pollution Control Assistant Director with review and approval of Improvement Location Permits (ILPs) and other related plan routings from the Department of Planning Services.
Responsible for inspecting the construction of private and commercial sewage disposal systems including identifying problems, recommending corrective measures and taking enforcement actions as needed to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and legal requirements. Refers problematic cases to the Onsite Sewage Systems Enforcement Coordinator as needed.
Inspects private wells and onsite systems for compliance with operating permits and collects water samples for bacteriological and chemical analysis when requested.

POSITION: SITE SAFETY PROFESSIONAL II
LOCATION: Fort Wayne, IN
OBJECTIVE
The Site Safety Professional II is responsible for managing jobsite safety activities, including developing site-specific safety plans, implementing customer-driven requirements, and ensuring a safe work environment. This role actively participates in pre-task planning and risk reduction efforts. It is a full-time hourly position with benefits. Travel and overtime may be required.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Commit to CCCs people-based safety culture and comply with corporate safety policies and leadership training requirements.
Collaborate with the clients project management team, CCC project executives, engineers, the regional safety manager, trade subcontractors, local authorities, and designers to ensure project success.
Develop and implement the site-specific Jobsite Safety Plan.
Establish onsite emergency plans and offsite medical arrangements.
Conduct safety orientations for all direct-hire and subcontractor employees.
Assist onsite supervision in developing pre-task plans.
Train supervision in the safety observation program, implement it onsite, and communicate relevant information to employees.
Support the project management team in completing incident analyses.
Organize and lead weekly Toolbox Talks.
Conduct daily site assessments to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and site safety standards, documenting findings.
Maintain required safety documentation, including Safety Data Sheets.

GENERAL PURPOSE
This role is responsible for supporting Legrand | AV's Health, Safety and Environmental programs to ensure operations minimize the impact to provide a safe and incident-free workplace. Responsible for leading and supporting the development and implementation of the Safety & Health culture throughout by leveraging technical support, program development, and relationship building. Plan and deliver programs to train managers and employees in work site safety. Analyze data to identify trends and incident types that can be prevented and implement corrective action.
This is an on-site position sitting in Warsaw, In. directly supporting the Warsaw and Blue Ash, Ohio plants.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Applies EHS practices to develop, implement and manage processes and systems. Develops best practices to drive and create a best in class culture. Provides comprehensive EHS support to the Operations team in regulatory compliance, program development and implementation, documentation, and reporting.
Communicates the EHS vision and performance to internal and external stakeholders.
Monitors federal, state, regional, and local safety and environmental regulations for impact and effective application within the manufacturing site(s).
Management and reporting responsibility for all environmental operating permits
Helps develops policies, programs and implementation strategies for Da-lite EH&S.
Collaborates with Da-Lite teams to ensure EHS requirements are implemented.
Provides leadership to achieve the EHS vision, partnering with AV management.
Conducts site risk assessments to determine and document impact to Da-lite staff and coordinates risk reduction strategies.
Implements and maintains EHS training program including: identification of training requirements, coordination of training sessions, training development and presentation.
Implements Legrand EHS Business (LNCA) & Corporate (Group) processes and systems.
Supports site needs or requests with regulatory inspections or audits.
Implements record management and retention policies to comply with regulatory requirements and corporate standards.
Audits all US based Da-lite Operations and assists with corrective actions as applicable.
Identifies risks associated with the management of Legrand contractors located on Da-lite premises.
Creates reports to assist with compliance of environmental/safety regulations and sustainability goals.
Initiate and assist with the creation, development, and implementation of processes and procedures
Consistently support compliance by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and the Company's policies and procedures
Understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace. Cooperate in safety programs, initiatives, and investigations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Excellent interpersonal, oral presentation and written communication skills including the ability to make and deliver training presentations; professional presence and behavior
Ability to operate/work in an high growth & entrepreneurial environment
Proficient in the use of personal computers, internet and MS Office suite of software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook (or related e-mail system) to support EHS communication, reporting and analytics.
Ability to work in a team environment, and leverage additional resources as needed
Proven broad knowledge of environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations (OSHA/EPA/NFPA).
Demonstrated leadership, influencing, coaching and collaboration skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently to find solutions.
Must be able to function in a deadline driven environment
Proven ability to make sound decisions to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law
Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage several projects at one time while providing high attention to details and excellent follow-through skills
Must possess high degree of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or Environmental Sciences or other related technical degree with five (5) years' of professional EHS experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
Demonstrated experience in the application of EHS management systems.
Special Job Requirements:
Must be available for extended, varied work hours based on business need
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Certifications (CSP, ASP, CHMM)
Basic knowledge of sustainability (CSR)
Experience with ISO 14001 and/or 45001
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required (for the majority of the working day) to sit and make coordinated movements of the fingers for data entry on a keyboard.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Mix of general office environment and regular shop assembly/distribution center environment (no air conditioning)
Steel-toed shoes are required for working in this position.
May require regular ground travel to other company facilities
Long-distance or air travel as needed - not to exceed 20% travel
