Our Regulatory Specialist role is responsible for global product compliance in all phases of the product lifecycle. **A day in the Life:**
+ Contribute as a core team member on New Product Development teams by identifying regulatory requirements, coordinating external certification tests, and publishing technical documentation for global markets.

* Issue daily site observation reports for each site inspection.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate's degree in construction management, safety, or occupational health and safety, or a related degree preferred.
* 8+ years of full-time on-site experience in construction-specific project health & safety leadership
* Certification in field; CHST, ASP/CSP, CIH, PE, or similar registration highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry and construction standards.

Position Summary: The Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) will serve as the primary authority for planning, implementing, and enforcing the Contractor's Safety and Health Program under this potential contract supporting the 81st Readiness Division (RD). Duties and Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 3 years of satisfactory experience in preparing and enforcing a Contractor's safety program on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity within the past.
Must have successfully completed the 30-hour OSHA Safety Class or equivalent within the last three (3) years.

Due to the size and complexity of the site, this role will have the responsibility to ensure appropriate systems are in place to control a variety of workplace hazards including potent compounds (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API)) as well as more traditional regulated compounds, chemicals, noise biological and ionizing and non-ionizing radiation sources using contemporary hygiene controls.
How You Will Achieve It

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Health & Safety Advisor to support the implementation and continuous improvement of our safety programs. This role is key in promoting a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA and ISO 45001 standards, and reducing risks from workplace hazards. Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage safety programs in compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and internal standards
Serve as the site lead for ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001 systems
Conduct and update Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
Identify hazard controls and recommend process and equipment improvements
Inspect facilities and equipment to ensure compliance and minimize risks
Review new equipment and facility plans for safety compliance
Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Handling workman's compensation claims
Prepare and submit required safety reports to internal and external stakeholders
Monitor environmental conditions (air, noise, temperature, etc.) for compliance
Support safety committees and employee engagement initiatives
Deliver safety training to employees and contractors
Conduct audits and contribute to safety performance improvement
Liaise with emergency services and health professionals as needed
Analyze safety data to identify trends and inform preventative actions
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Experience with workman's compensation
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, ISO 45001, and hazard mitigation principles
Experience with inspections, training, audits, and root cause analysis
Credentials
Safety Engineer license or certification (preferred)
CSP, CIH, or equivalent EHS certifications a plus
ISO 45001 or OHSAS 18001 internal auditor certification (preferred)
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods across large operational areas
Ability to climb, bend, and access elevated or confined spaces for inspections
Comfortable wearing required PPE and working in a variety of environmental conditions (noise, heat, etc.)

Position Summary: The Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) will serve as the primary authority for planning, implementing, and enforcing the Contractor's Safety and Health Program under this potential contract supporting the 81st Readiness Division (RD). This position ensures all operational, maintenance, and environmental activities are conducted in strict compliance with federal, state, and local safety standards requirements.
The SSHO works collaboratively with the Program Manager (PM) and Quality Control Manager (QCM) to promote a unified safety and quality culture, perform enterprise-level risk assessments, and ensure consistent reporting and compliance across all 81st RD sites. This position is contingent upon contract award and is for a possible contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and enforce the Contractor's Safety and Health Program in accordance with contract requirements and applicable regulations.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, AR 420-1, and EO 14057 sustainability and environmental directives.
Conduct daily safety inspections, hazard analyses, and risk assessments for all ongoing site activities.
Prepare, maintain, and update all required Safety Plans, Accident Prevention Plans (APPs), and other safety documentation.
Provide regular safety briefings, toolbox talks, and safety-related training for all project personnel and subcontractors.
Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near-miss events, ensuring root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Maintain complete and accurate safety records, including logs, inspection reports, and incident summaries, for government review.
Coordinate closely with the PM and QCM to integrate safety performance into quality control and operational objectives.
Conduct enterprise-level trend analysis to identify risks and develop preventive measures across all supported sites.
Promote a strong, proactive safety culture emphasizing continuous improvement and employee engagement in safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 3 years of satisfactory experience in preparing and enforcing a Contractor's safety program on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity within the past.
Must have successfully completed the 30-hour OSHA Safety Class or equivalent within the last three (3) years.
Must pass a background screen
Preferred Qualifications:
Dedicated safety professional certified in OSHA-30 and EM 385-1-1 compliance.
Advanced training in Behavior-Based Safety (BBS), AR 420-1 sustainability, and Executive Order (EO) 14057 environmental compliance.
Experience performing enterprise-level risk assessments and implementing preventive safety programs across multiple project locations.
Strong knowledge of federal safety management systems and Army Reserve environmental and occupational health programs.
Demonstrated ability to develop and lead proactive, data-driven safety initiatives that reduce risk and enhance organizational culture.
Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills with proven success in coordinating with PM and QCM for integrated safety-quality management.
