MINIMUM EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Education and Experience

Maintain accurate safety documentation, including inspection reports, training records, and regulatory logs
Monitor compliance with OSHA Construction standards and company safety policies, recommending improvements
Help ensure safe use of heavy equipment, excavation/trenching, traffic control, and other high-risk activities
What Youll Bring
Solid working knowledge of OSHA Construction standards and field safety best practices
OSHA 30, CHST, or similar safety credentials preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Comfortable in the field: walking jobsites, climbing in and out of trenches, and being around heavy equipment
Strong communication and coaching skills with the ability to influence without authority
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities
Valid drivers license and ability to travel regularly to jobsites across Middle Tennessee
Preferred:
OSHA 30-Hour Construction
OSHA-510
CPR / First Aid / AED
Trenching & Excavation Competent Person
Fall Protection & Confined Space awareness
Defensive Driving / Fleet Safety
3+ years of safety experience in construction (heavy civil, earthwork, utilities, or roadwork strongly preferred)
