Qualifications Qualified candidates are required to have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, other S.T.E.M. fields, or Criminal Justice. M.S. is preferred. Five to ten years of experience in vehicle accident reconstruction. Coursework and practical experience in accident investigation, analysis, reconstruction, report preparation and testimony. Practical mechanical experience, either professionally, through course work, or recreation. ACTAR accreditation, SAE Accident Reconstruction Certification and licensure as a professional engineer preferred. Experience in data acquisition systems for vehicle testing preferred. Willingness to travel, sometimes with short notice. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working on a team as a project manager.
