Be able to write and implement SOPs related to multiple departments
Help the sanitation team maintain compliance with the Master Sanitation Log and SSOPs.
Assist with the traceability program and be able to conduct mock recalls.
Lead internal inspections and audits and follow up on corrective actions.
Actively seek areas for improvement and suggest solutions.
Train and coach employees from all departments on basic food safety topics.
Conduct projects and studies as needed and be able to summarize and report findings.
Be able to analyze QC and Production data using statistical analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE -
BS/BA in Microbiology, Food Science, Biochemistry or similar discipline preferred. Relevant experience with AA or HS diploma may be considered also.
COMMUNICATION SKILL LEVEL -
Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Bi- lingual (English/Spanish/Creole) Preferred, not required.
COMPUTER SKILLS -
Should be able to use Excel, Word & Outlook with moderate skill level. Also, needs to be able to independently learn and become proficient with vendor provided software for various lab instrumentation.

Job Purpose:

Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring the safety of all personnel in the workplace. Working with our client on-site overseeing Mechanical, electrical and plumbing crews for a new construction project.
BCSP certification required on-site for this project.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Conducting project safety inspections and orientations.
Safety training as requested/required.
Observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices.
Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management.
Other tasks and activities within the realm of the EHS profession within the manager's skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations
Communicating safety standards between trades, GC and sub-contractors

**Summary**
The **Senior Field Safety Manager** promotes the Company's IIF culture by ensuring every co-worker returns home safety every night. Is expected to spend a minimum of 70% of time in the field observing and coaching co-workers and other safety professionals on correction of unsafe conditions and behaviors. Reinforces positive behavior through recognition and/or rewards. Serves as a resource to co-workers by answering questions about safety and sharing lessons learned. Uses leading indicators to influence the future direction of safety in the project. Embeds self with project teams and strategically "dives in" using a hands-on approach to improve project safety, quality, and productivity (SQP). Provides safety support to business unit.

**Requirements**

+ Minimum of 7 years of construction experience, or a minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience (including Internship).

The Manager, Safety Services will be the key technical resource and provide the daily leadership oversight, feedback and development to the salaried and O&T Cast in the implementation and sustainment of crucial safety programs for their designated business. What You Will Do
On any given day, as Manager, Safety Services, you might:
Improve results by guiding the team in the implementation of safety programs, performing job task analysis, analyzing injury and illness trend data, evaluating safety performance, and finding opportunities to improve safety performance.
Assign work tasks, provide leadership, gather and combine team input to form recommended action plans and analyze data/trends to guide incident reduction and hazard mitigation.
Focus on improving performance, reviewing source material (rules, codes, laws and standards) and identifying and sharing industry practices.
Share responsibility with Senior Manager, Safety Services in supporting senior executives.
