We're seeking a boots-on-the-ground Safety Supervisor to lead safety efforts in a tight-knit, high-output industrial facility. This individual won't be drafting standards or giving toolbox talks, but will be expected to deliver key safety messaging, walk the floor daily, and act as a trusted resource to supervisors. You'll represent safety from the field-not behind a desk-and help identify, address, and reduce risk without disrupting production flow.
This is a high-impact leadership position requiring strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to build trust with a long-standing team. You must be bilingual and exceptionally strong in written English, with the polish and precision to interface with senior leadership, regulatory agencies, and internal compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform regular plant walkthroughs to identify potential safety hazards and suggest practical solutions
Deliver safety materials and updates to team leads and supervisors (no toolbox talks, just support and guidance)
Partner with production supervisors to ensure PPE usage, safe procedures, and best practices are in place
Maintain regular communication with corporate safety leadership and participate in weekly strategy sessions
Build rapport with floor supervisors by asking questions, listening first, and offering constructive input
Support incident follow-up, documentation, and internal reviews for continuous safety improvement
Participate in corporate safety events and learning opportunities (AFS visits, annual summit, etc.)
Assist with incident recordkeeping, OSHA documentation, and audit readiness
Lead by example with strong floor presence and commitment to operational safety
Qualifications & Experience
Previous safety leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Fluent in Spanish and English, with strong written communication required for formal reports and OSHA interactions
Clear understanding of OSHA requirements and how to apply them on-site
Ability to lead through influence and build credibility in an “earn-your-stripes” team culture
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Willingness to travel occasionally (2x/year to Wisconsin, 1 annual event in Chicago)
Able to work flexible shifts to support variable plant schedules

The Work You Will Do

* Conducts regulatory, standardized inspections of public food service establishments and lodging facilities for compliance with environmental health and sanitation regulations, and other safety or sanitation-related areas as deemed necessary.

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for continuously monitoring and discussing safety procedures and operations to ensure a safe and fully compliant work environment for all employees. The main duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Monitor and report on the compliance of daily departmental safety inspections within the warehouse
Analyze and report if building/property found to be out of compliance
Working in conjunction with the Warehouse Management team, provide safety training for employees on policies, regulations and procedures
Work with all market staff to complete monthly training requirements
Ensure all safety related trainings are updated and linked within the training matrix

Serve as primary contact for accident and incident notification, investigation, and case management.
Enter all accidents and injuries into Incident Tracker
Ensure ADP training videos are assigned
Employee and Supervisor
Track and enter completion dates
Help analyze incident reports, metrics and injury case studies in order to institute changes that lead to a safer environment
Use Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to determine additional policies and procedures required to improve safety and wellness within the facility
Send RCA after each accident or incident

Maintain accurate and current records in accordance with guidelines.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
Requirements
HS diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two-years warehouse experience preferred
Previous experience working in a Safety or Compliance capacity preferred
Must be comfortable using warehouse hardware, including handheld scanners, and both Apple and Android handheld devices
Must be comfortable using company software for basic communication and reporting, including email, Slack, and spreadsheets
Effective verbal and written communication
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities
* The Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Safety Manager with all tasks as related to Safety, including but not limited to; coordinating safety training and updating training files, preparing EH&S documents to include Site Safety Specific plans and to provide employees with safety documentation.

Qualifications
* Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
* Experience in a commercial construction environment.
* OSHA 30, Fall Protection, Forklift Safety Certifications a plus.

As an Overnight Public Safety Supervisor at the Miami Beach Convention Center, you will lead a dedicated team ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and partners. Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conduct Shift Briefings: Lead shift briefings with staff to provide essential information about upcoming events, report any incidents, and discuss other relevant activities.
