Worker's Justice Project (WJP) (workersjustice.org) was founded in 2010 to address the racial and economic injustices that low-wage immigrant workers face in New York City by building collective power to win institutional change. WJP runs two long-standing worker's centers in Brooklyn. As an independent contractor, the Safety Director will operate autonomously, offering services on a project-based and event-support basis, ensuring the safety and security of the church community. Contractor Status and Autonomy To align with contractor classification: The Safety Director will independently manage their schedule and determine the methods, tools, and resources needed to fulfill the deliverables outlined in the contract. About the Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Director for Global Site Security within Northeastern University's Global Safety & Policing Department, the NY Campus Safety Director (CSD) role leads the day-to-day operations, develops the campus safety team, and oversees the security standards across the campus.
