Advanced Environmental Group, Inc. (AEG) is seeking a Safety Specialist - Site Safety Officer in California. The health and safety technician will support the AEG Safety Team. This position is designed for individuals with 3-5+ years of experience in the construction safety and environmental remediation field. This individual must be familiar with general construction, drilling, heavy equipment operation and large-scale remedial/construction activity. This contracted position is a full-time. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Full time assignment to complete a variety of health and safety related roles in support of a major projects. The CHST , ASP or CHST/ASP candidate will provide oversight of field crews performances during, installation and testing; construction of remediation well-head infrastructure; above-ground water storage infrastructure; buildings and above-ground structures; grading and earthwork; construction of electrical infrastructure; and, controls/instrumentation activities. All site work will be conducted in accordance with Cal/OSHA (Construction and General Industry) Safety Orders; site specific health and safety plan(s); and, AEG policies and procedures.
