The Safety Manager is responsible for creating a culture of care while enforcing Clark's Safety and Health Policy, as well as, local and federal safety standards on jobsites. This role leads employee safety education in partnership with project supervisors to develop safe work plans for all phases and tasks. To us, no project is successful unless it is built safely.
Responsibilities
* Drive the Clark safety culture on a project
* Oversee and ensure the safety of employees, trade partners, and general public
* Enforce corporate and project specific safety and health programs as well as federal, state, and local safety standards

General Summary
The Driver Safety Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and implementing company drivers safety protocols and procedures across multiple locations within a specified region. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, reducing accidents, and promoting a culture of safety within the fleet operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safety of fleet operations, minimizing risks, and fostering a culture of safety within the transportation industry. This position requires a proactive approach to safety, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Tasks
Develop, implement, and monitor driver safety policies and procedures in alignment with local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to driver safety standards.
Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations related to transportation safety and implement necessary updates.
Assist in the design and conduct Driver's safety training programs for drivers and other staff members.
Provide guidance on safe driving practices, accident prevention, and emergency response protocols. Collaborate with HR to ensure new hires receive comprehensive driver safety training.
Analyze accident and incident reports to identify trends and root causes.
Develop strategies to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences. Implement corrective actions and improvement plans based on data analysis.
Liaise with departmental managers and other stakeholders to promote a driver safety-first culture.
Communicate driver safety updates, best practices, and initiatives across the company.
Track and analyze driver safety performance metrics, such as accident rates, near misses, and compliance levels.
Prepare reports and presentations to present drivers safety performance to senior management. Coordinate responses to accidents, incidents, and emergencies.
Lead or assist in investigations to determine the causes of accidents and implement corrective actions. Performs other duties as assigned.
