Position Type: Full-Time Location: Onsite, Tampa, FL Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 Position Overview: Strive Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Specialist to support and enhance our workplace safety culture. This role focuses on implementing safety initiatives to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will proactively implement safety programs, conduct training, and ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Key Responsibilities: Conduct daily safety walks and engage with employees to reinforce safety protocols. Oversee site safety assessments, identifying and documenting potential hazards. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or warehouse safety will also be considered. 1-2 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in a pharmacy, healthcare or warehouse environment. Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and general workplace safety procedures. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to conduct engaging and effective safety training sessions. Hands-on approach with a proactive mindset to identify and resolve safety concerns. OSHA 30 certification required. Maintain accurate records of all safety-related incidents, including near-misses and injuries, and report findings to the Site Safety Manager. Ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained and in good working order, including personal protective equipment, fall protection systems, and fire suppression equipment.
