Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Training & Leadership Development
Design, implement, and manage hands-on training programs for Location Managers, Assistant Managers, and Supervisors.
Deliver in-person and field-based coaching focused on leadership, communication, operational excellence, and employee development.
Spend the majority of time on-site, observing operations, providing real-time feedback, and ensuring consistency in training execution.
Develop engaging materials and update training manuals, SOPs, and digital learning resources to reflect best practices.
Partner with Operations and HR to identify skill gaps and create targeted development plans.
Facilitate onboarding, continuous training, and leadership certification programs for all management levels.
Support rollout of new systems and initiatives by creating and delivering appropriate training and follow-up sessions.
Safety Management
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and training compliant with OSHA and state regulations.
Conduct frequent safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments at various locations across multiple states.
Lead investigations for workplace incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
Deliver field safety coaching, toolbox talks, and site-level safety meetings.
Train managers on hazard awareness, safety communication, and proactive risk reduction techniques.
Ensure safety procedures are fully integrated into daily operational processes.
Maintain accurate safety documentation and compliance records for all locations.
Track and analyze safety performance metrics, presenting actionable insights to leadership.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with regional and site leaders to ensure alignment and consistency in all training and safety practices.
Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement throughout all levels of the organization.
Use Lean Six Sigma principles to identify and implement process improvements that reduce risk, improve efficiency, and drive operational excellence.
Contribute to career development pathways and leadership succession planning.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Safety Management, Education, or related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience in safety management, leadership development, or training (car wash, retail, or manufacturing preferred).
Strong understanding of OSHA and general industry safety standards.
Proven ability to train, coach, and develop leaders and front-line supervisors.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience delivering both in-person and virtual training programs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Highly organized and able to manage multiple field projects across locations.
Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience with process improvement preferred.
Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends, when necessary.
Must be committed to extensive multi-state travel and hands-on engagement in the field (approx. 75% travel).
Work Environment & Physical Demands

Qualifications
JOB FUNCTIONS (ESSENTIAL)

Position Purpose:
Responsible for providing and administering environmental, health, and safety programs and related policies and procedures affecting the company's existing and/or proposed environmental health and safety issues. Duties and Requirements of the Job: * Develop and complete training on environmental, health, and safety related topics. * Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures. * Adheres to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations.
* Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies and procedures accordingly.
* Ensure work instructions reflect current legal requirements and best practices in environmental and safety management.
* Lead incident investigations in collaboration with relevant departments.
* Ensure timely submission of root cause analyses and corrective action plans following incidents.
* Manage the Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure comprehensive conformance to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, company policies, procedures, and established objectives and targets.
* Conduct required environmental testing, including stormwater, drinking water, and air quality sampling.
* Monitors objectives and targets with associated tracking methods.
* Monitor and report utility usage including waste, electricity, water, and natural gas.
* Maintain accurate records and input data into Credit 360 to support sustainability goals and regulatory reporting.
* Perform risk assessments and hazard analyses on equipment and processes.
* Monitor chemical inventories and manage SDS documentation.
* Support the creation and maintenance of emergency response plans and spill prevention protocols.
* Track and report on EHS performance KPI's.
* Serve as a point of contact for environmental and safety matters.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement safety improvements.
* Foster a culture of accountability and proactive risk management.
* Ensure strict adherence to serious 7 safety policies.
* Lead daily safety walks across the facility to proactively identify hazards, reinforce safe behaviors, and engage with employees on safety concerns.
* Manage the Cority incident tracking system to log, monitor, and close out safety events and corrective actions.
* Organize and lead monthly safety committee meetings to review incidents, discuss safety concerns, and promote employee involvement in EHS initiatives.
* Other duties as assigned.
Training, Knowledge and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Safety, or related field (preferred).
* 5+ years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
* Proven experience managing EMS programs and ISO 14001/ISO 45001 compliance.
* Strong understanding of regulatory testing, environmental, and OSHA compliance.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Physical Requirements to Perform the Duties of the Job:
* Approximately 50% of time will be spent on the production floor conducting safety walks, inspections, and employee engagement.
* Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during facility inspections and safety walks.
* Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
* Comfortable working in industrial environments including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
* Ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel, and reach as needed during inspections.
* Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
