Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to oversee workplace safety and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and Oil and Gas industry-specific safety standards. The Safety Coordinator will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs, policies, and procedures to promote a safe and healthy work environment. Responsibilities * Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. * Train employees and contractors on safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and Oil and Gas-specific OSHA regulations. * Maintain detailed records of workplace incidents, inspections, and training sessions in compliance with industry and regulatory requirements. * Conduct monthly safety meetings with all US employees. * Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement preventative measures tailored to Oil and Gas operations. * Collaborate with management and operations teams to establish and enforce safety standards and best practices. * Monitor compliance with OSHA's Process Safety Management (PSM) standards and ensure alignment with industry-specific safety requirements. * Stay updated on emerging regulations, technologies, and best practices in Oil and Gas safety. * Conduct regular safety audits, site inspections, and hazard assessments at our customer sites to ensure our employees are in compliance with OSHA and customer-specific safety regulatory requirements. * Serve as a liaison during safety audits and inspections by regulatory agencies or industry bodies. * Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability throughout the organization. The Safety Coordinator reports to the Senior Director of Safety. Responsibilities are focused on maintaining the safest possible workplace and OSHA Compliance. The Safety Coordinator will be hands-on and interact with our field personnel and management team daily. Essential Job Functions: This is a list of the most prominent duties and responsibilities. Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, standards, policies, and/or procedures. Provides technical expertise to managers and supervisors in establishing techniques and procedures for the elimination or control of unsafe behaviors, environments, and hazards. Plans and conducts periodic and unscheduled surveys and inspections of Miller Electric Company projects. Conduct hazard analyses of project operations Assist in the update and maintenance of the company safety manual Develop and conduct risk assessments and Job Task Analyses for relevant tasks Coordinates with operating activities to provide safety training and ensures safety awareness throughout Miller Electric Company. Work with personnel to assure safe placement and job assignment Assist in the maintenance of accident record keeping Provide technical assistance with the investigation of accidents, incidents, injuries, and/or illnesses.
