The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, kitchen equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Sweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements. Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas. Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other food preparation machines and equipment. * Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, and all other food prep surfaces as assigned. * Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, observing all safe lifting standards. * Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested. Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and products. Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Highschool diploma or GED. * Minimum (1) year of Food and Beverage, Arena/Stadium, Hotel/ Hospitality, Club or Full-Service Restaurant experience. * Minimum (1) year of custodial, janitorial and/or commercial cleaning experience. * Valid TABC or state approved Alcohol/Liquor certification. * Valid ServSafe or state approved Food Handler's certification. * Scheduling flexibility to work various shifts, including, nights, weekends, and holidays. * Strong communication skills, ability to read, speak, and write in English. * Ability to lift 50lbs or more, squatting, bending, and walking for long periods.
