The construction industry, a $15 trillion global sector, is increasingly shaped by AI, automation, and data-driven insights. We are seeking a motivated and innovative Research Intern to develop and prototype multimodal AI agents that can interpret and reason across diverse Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) data, designing creative new workflows for AI in Construction.
This internship will focus on Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision-Language Models (VLMs), and knowledge graphs to create intelligent agents capable of understanding AEC documentation, images, and sensor data to autonomously execute construction management tasks.
As an intern with Autodesk Research, you'll collaborate with a global team working at the intersection of AI, robotics, and construction technology. Your work will directly contribute to advancing digital twins, multimodal reasoning, and scalable AI systems for the AEC industry.
Responsibilities
Multimodal AI Agent Development: Design and prototype AI agents using LLMs, vision-language models, and multi-agent frameworks. Focus on integrating agent protocols to enable robust interactions between agents and external tools (e.g., APIs, databases, and resources).
Prototype AI Solutions in Construction Project: Build a functional AI agent prototype, including demos that showcase capabilities in querying, data analysis, and inter-agent interactions in a real-world AEC project.
Research and Implement Data Analysis Techniques: Explore graph querying methods and multimodal data to interpret and combine textual, visual, and sensor data from construction sources. Address key challenges, including handling domain-specific nuances in AEC data.
Conduct Experiments and Present Findings: Perform hands-on research on AI agent architectures for construction applications and present results to the team through reports, demos, or potential contributions to academic papers.
Minimum Qualifications
Pursuing a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning/AI, Robotics, or a related field, with familiarity in AEC domains.
Strong proficiency in Python and experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, PyTorch, or similar for building agents and models.
Hands-on experience with LLMs, vision-language models (e.g., GPT-4V, Claude, Gemini), and graph tools (e.g., Neo4j, GraphQL, or similar).
Understanding of multimodal data processing, including techniques for combining textual, visual, and sensor inputs.
Solid grasp of agent protocols (e.g., Model Context Protocol, Agent2Agent Protocol) and experience with external tool integrations (e.g., APIs).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a passion for innovative technology in construction.

Salary Transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate's experience, educational level, and geographic location, and can exceed this range.
For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized intern base salary to be between:
$47,840 and $95,680 (undergraduate students)
$72,800 and $118,500 (Masters/MBA students)
$118,560 and $162,240 (PhD students)

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing valuation analyses for financial reporting, gift & estate tax, and advisory services.
Support the review of third-party appraisals for audit and reporting purposes.
Contribute to database-driven projects and build Python-based tools to streamline valuation workflows.
Conduct market, industry, and economic research to support valuation models.
Present findings and insights using data visualization and quantitative storytelling.
Participate in client meetings and contribute to innovation-focused engagements.
Collaborate across teams including Corporate Value and Forensic Consulting.
Assist in writing reports, client communications, and thought leadership articles.
Engage in training sessions and career development presentations.
Support business development initiatives and internal process improvements.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a 4- or 5-year academic program pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related STEM field.
Minimum 3.7 GPA with a strong academic record.
Prior internship or co-op experience in valuation, financial services, or technical consulting is preferred.
Experience with Python and/or database projects (SQL, Excel modeling, etc.) is highly valued.
Strong interest in quantitative analysis, coding, and financial modeling.
Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and professional writing ability.
Proven leadership and entrepreneurial mindset through extracurriculars or work experience.
Comfortable in client-facing roles and collaborative team environments.

Your Role Accountabilities

Qualifications & Experience

Experience with SQL or similar scripting languages is a plus
Strong analytical skills and a “mind for numbers”

The Wireless Device Engineer Intern at Nsight will enhance the quality of Cellcom's product offerings through rigorous testing of wireless devices and technologies, and assist in resolving related issues. This role involves supporting Device Engineers in testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining an inventory of necessary tools and equipment. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, and have a background in telecommunications or electronics.
Responsibilities & Duties:
* Assist Device Engineers in conducting formal testing of new wireless devices, features, and technologies.
* Troubleshoot customer issues escalated to the engineering team by customer service.
* Create test configurations using electronic test equipment and complex software.
* Manage workload, set priorities, maintain quality of work, and plan project deliverables.
* Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
Must have at least sophomore standing.
Up to two years of telecommunications or electronics background preferred.
Working knowledge of wireless devices, including phones and access points.
Familiarity with engineering principles, Internet platforms and systems, software configuration, and quality assurance techniques.

Job Purpose
Join our Program Analysis team and gain valuable experience evaluating business programs, analyzing market data, and supporting strategic decision-making. As a Program Analyst Intern, you'll work closely with a team of program analysts and collaborate across functions to ensure programs are effective, competitive, and financially sound.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:
* Analyzing the effectiveness of programs such as discounting and financing
* Reviewing market share results, trends, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and risks
* Supporting the generation of new programming based on analysis and field feedback
* Ensuring program changes align with defined budgets and financial guidelines
* Collaborating with a team of three Program Analysts with product-specific responsibilities
* Partnering with the program auditing and process training lead to support compliance and efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $18.75 - $37.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
