The Quality & Process Control Manager will be expected to ensure the plant remains in full compliance with regulatory and ISO requirements as they pertain to the plant, customer specifications, and corporate quality policies. The Quality & Process Control Manager will also be responsible for identification and implementation of projects to reduce waste and improvement processes through WCM methodologies. **Essential Duties** + Oversee implementation and compliance of the site Quality Management System (QMS) with corporate policies, regulations, and industry standards. + Manage document control, change management, supplier quality, audits, risk management, and training programs. + Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), ensuring timely resolution of issues. + Oversee product/material testing and approve quality control (QC) results. + Lead and develop the Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering teams. + Set daily priorities, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. + Build a strong, collaborative team culture focused on quality, accountability, and professional growth. + Directly manage 2 salaried and 6-10 hourly employees. + Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to direct reports. + Take ownership of the facility QMS and ensure compliance and continuous improvement. + Inspire buy-in across the organization for quality standards and improvements. + Act as a problem-solver and visionary, setting goals for the Quality Department and executing against milestones. + Manage customer quality interactions, including audits, corrective actions, and quality agreements. + Partner across departments to resolve quality issues and ensure customer requirements are met. **Requirements** + Bachelor's degree Engineering, Operations or equivalent + 5+ years' experience as part of a quality organization in a highly regulated industry (preferably aerospace). + 5+ years' experience managing, growing, and developing direct reports. + Strong knowledge of quality standards ISO9001 and/or AS9100 is preferred. + Demonstrated understanding of LEAN manufacturing concepts + Strong project managements skills Saint-Gobain's innovations touch almost every major industry around the world, moving us forward, making meaningful connections, and inspiring us to go beyond the impossible. Individuals get hands-on experience through various assignments (Corporate, regional, and possibly international) to gain key operational excellence, leadership and change management competencies augmenting their historical work and academic experience. Essential Functions * Lead and participate in cross-functional project teams within operations and supply chain. * Assist in the creation of world-class internal processes in rotational areas such as strategic supplier management, contract management, operations, and operations planning. * Participate in Avient Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Kaizen Leader training and complete at least two DMAIC projects over the rotational period to earn Black Belt certification. * Interface with Operational Excellence department and all areas of the business units to ensure improvements are implemented and sustained. * Identify and develop key operational excellence metrics and measures to facilitate performance improvements. * Interact with senior management, gain exposure to Avient's most critical initiatives, build relationships with other high-potential employees across the globe, and make a difference in Avient's future success. * Gain an understanding of the various Avient businesses from a financial, operational, and strategic standpoint. * Application of change management and leadership capabilities with Avient customers through the "Customer First" program. * Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience * MBA, Operations or Supply Chain Management focus and three years of work experience preferred. * Project management experience, team facilitation, data analysis, change management, best practice translation, and process improvement experience is ideal.
