Design and development of UPS subsystems/components in compliance with specifications, EMC/EMI requirements, and applicable standards.
PCB design.

Collaboration in an interdisciplinary engineering environment (with embedded, test, and mechanical engineers) to define requirements, discuss trade-offs, participate in design verification, and ensure successful integration of single-phase UPS designs.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in medium-to-low power circuit topologies, principles of power electronic converters, and semiconductor devices.

Job Summary

Proficient in EPLAN (preferred) and/or AutoCAD Electrical for control panel and schematic design
Experience designing electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other power delivery systems
Familiar with UL, NFPA79, or IEC standards for industrial control panels
Comfortable collaborating with mechanical and software teams during the machine design lifecycle
Experience with machine wiring, hardware selection, and bills of material is a plus
Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and VFDs is helpful but not required
Preferred (but not required):
Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
Experience supporting machine builds or troubleshooting wiring in the field
Exposure to machine safety design, lockout/tagout systems, or risk assessments
Job Duties:
Design control panels, schematics, and system layouts using EPLAN (preferred) and/or AutoCAD Electrical
Create electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams to support custom machine builds
Select components including fuses, breakers, relays, valves, and sensors based on application and standards
Collaborate with mechanical and controls engineers to ensure seamless system integration
Provide support during machine builds, wiring checks, and commissioning
Maintain up-to-date documentation and BOMs throughout the project lifecycle
