Physician Assistant

Duties include:

  • Provide admitting and sick call services for medical problems of clients receiving alcoholism/chemical dependency therapy at Memphis within required time frames.
  • Assist in the management of the medical detoxification unit and the ongoing medical problems of clients.
  • Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care of medical problems upon discharge of client from Memphis.

Qualifications include:

  • Licensed to practice as a physician's assistant in the State of Michigan.
  • Knowledge/familiarity with Twelve-Step Program deemed desirable.
  • Candidate should possess appropriate knowledge of alcoholism and other drug dependencies and the treatment requirements of these illnesses.
  • Sensitivity to people recovering from chemical dependency and addictive disease.

Monitor/Support Staff

Duties include:

  • Complete general office duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, filing, processing payments, and balancing cash drawer, etc. Assist clients in completing initial paperwork. Review charts monthly for accuracy by doing quantitative chart reviews. Keep master forms in good order and copies of forms stocked.
