This role does include TIG welding, but a large part of the work is technical: measuring, fit-up, assembly, troubleshooting, and supporting the crew inside the bus duct system. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Due to the nature of EBI's operations and its work with federal contracts and critical infrastructure, this position is considered safety sensitive under applicable state and federal guidelines. This position requires successful completion of the following: Background Check Drug Test (Including Marijuana) DOT Physical Pre-Placement Exam TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS You must have a REAL ID and/or Passport to travel within the U.S. via airplane. QUALIFICATIONS 6 months of work experience with TIG Aluminum Desire to learn, grow, and earn certifications Comfortable with overnight travel and working at heights Certification of Welding from accredited school is preferred Comfortable with heights Valid Driver's License Ability to become certified in accordance with the company's welding procedures. Demonstrated knowledge of raw materials, welding processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing of goods. Demonstrative ability to read and write processes. Physical ability to independently lift, carry or maneuver up to 50 pounds. Demonstrated ability to communicate (verbal/written) effectively with customers, suppliers and employees. Demonstrative ability to work in a cooperative and team-oriented environment. Demonstrative ability to use computers and shop reference manuals. Demonstrative knowledge of blueprint reading. Available and open to extensive overnight travel as deemed necessary.
