This position is responsible for enrolling & completing the training course Level 1 provided by Petsense, "Paragon," in preparation for a career in grooming and/or bathing. Paragon is a virtual distant learning program where students are guided through a 15-week training program designed to educate students on the fundamentals in bathing and grooming, while also providing the necessary basic skills in safety, pet first aid and CPR, pet handling skills, dog anatomy and dog physiology. Under direction of senior personnel, the candidate will provide mechanical engineering research and design requirement support for the assembly/disassembly, test, onload/offload of Trident II D5 missiles and missile subassemblies inside of restricted access areas alongside our Navy customer, various LM organizations, and appropriate contractors. Operations are conducted in ordnance processing buildings at Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT), Kings Bay, Georgia. The candidate will perform investigative research to develop solutions to mechanical anomalies/failures discovered during the processing of missile hardware (issues related to propulsion, structures, ordnance, controls, avionics, and reentry hardware, SU operations, missile packs/unpacks, etc.) based on design requirements and subsequently propose those resolutions for action. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
