    Job Details CMC Asphalt - Jefferson City - Jefferson City, MO Full TimeDescription Capital Materials is looking to fill Asphalt Plant Laborer / Groundman positions for the 2025 season. These positions will be located at our asphalt plant in Jefferson City, Missouri. RESPONSIBILITIES Daily maintenance and cleaning of asphalt plant equipment and plant site Operate skid-steer, dump truck, shovels, rakes, broom, and/or other hand tools Daily inspection of skid-steer, dump truck, and other plant assets Assist drivers in unloading liquid asphalt cement into designated tanks Work closely with skilled plant operators to ensure seamless daily production Assist plant team with minor and major plant repairs as needed Assist in maintaining an organized spare parts inventory for the asphalt plant Cross-train on other job functions at the plant Adhere to OSHA rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment. Perform other job responsibilities as assigned. REQUIREMENTS General knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record Must be able to work as a team on all projects Welding experience is preferred, but not required Lift/move up to 50 lbs.
