Tradition is an important part of Saint Xavier University's identity.
Founded more than 165 years ago, the university was the first in
Illinois, established not long after the city of Chicago. Today, the
school maintains a campus in the heart of Chicago, with a satellite
campus in Orland Park. Saint Xavier's academics are divided into the following schools: * College of Arts & Sciences * School of Education * School of Nursing * Graham School of Business These academic divisions combine for more than 65 undergraduate and
graduate programs. The university also offers continuing education
programs and professional certifications for adult students. A unique feature of SXU's academics is the Center for Creating Engaged
