ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Data Analytics and Market Research
Prepare and provide initial interpretation of market and performance data to provide decision support information for establishing market direction and strategies by:
Monitoring and evaluating success of marketing programs and provide decision support data and recommendations for maintaining, enhancing or exiting campaigns
Gathering, analyzing and reporting competitive information and market trends to facilitate an expanded and thorough understanding of the industry for the entire organization
Compiling and distributing deposit-related data needed for weekly Pricing Committee meeting, leading the discussion and presenting recommendations on rates
2. Customer and Product Data Intelligence
Use market research tools and vendor resources to develop actionable recommendations for acquiring new customers and growing current customer relationships through:
Using the Bank's systems to provide key customer and prospect data throughout the organization
Working with VP of Product Management and Analytics to perform database analysis to identify cross-sell opportunities
Suggesting sales and marketing strategies to improve share of wallet and customer experience
Using data for migration measurement, campaign targeting, what-if analysis, and segmentation strategies
Creating and managing top-level reports to facilitate and measure sales performance
Working with internal stakeholders and primary vendor to maximize actionable insights and overall business value from the Bank's customer experience measurement tool
3. Product Management and Development
Support product development process for products, to ensure that relationships with internal departments are well managed and timelines / deliverables are met, through:
Assisting in managing all appropriate due diligence and communication needed to support development and launch of new or enhanced products and services.
Analyzing and preparing summary reports on competitive banks to assist marketing plans and product development
Conducting new product/pricing research, examining and sharing insights around relevant external market trends
4. General Corporate Marketing Management
Collaborative administration of corporate marketing and strategic implementation as assigned by:
Supporting analysis and fulfillment of the department's marketing campaigns
Assisting in the management of advertising and public relations agency relationships relative to use of market insights, data and intelligence.
Maintaining the department's policies and procedures related to consumer privacy and protection, including customer opt-outs.
Compliance with banking laws and regulations as defined in company policies and procedures pertinent to position.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Data Analytics or equivalent work experience with three or more years of related experience in primary market research, strategic planning, business and/or financial analysis is required. Ability to analyze and report key findings from quantitative research data is required. Experience working with multiple data systems and visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI and MCIF systems is preferred. Expertise in using spreadsheets, databases and word processing skills is required.
OTHER SKILLS:
Additional skills and competencies include: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent business writer for presentation of data and strategic concepts, and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of levels of personnel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, however other duties may be assigned based on business need:
Administers the daily functions of critical bank payment operations including wire payments, ACH payments and settlement, and card services.
Assists in the administration of critical deposit payment bank systems, including but not limited to Client Central, Fedline, Payments Exchange, and Pep+ systems to ensure proper operation and integration with the Core (DNA).
Assists with the execution of the deposit payments strategy by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure resource and process sustainability, productivity, and profitability and recommends adjustments to the programs as necessary.
Monitors emerging payment trends and technologies, communicates relevant updates to Deposit Payment Operations Manager as necessary.
Monitors critical deposit payment operations processes for compliance with applicable state/federal regulations and industry rules/standards, ensures proper controls are in place to mitigate identified risks, and escalates issues to the Deposit Payment Operations Manager as necessary.
Monitors critical payment activity, identifies fraud, data breaches, and/or trends and reports to Deposit Payments Manager as necessary.
Monitors Fiserv, regulatory, and other bulletins, identify processing, regulatory or other changes and works with the Deposit Payment Operations Manager to implement changes.
Conducts payment operations quality control reviews including but not limited to fraud rule exclusions, system access, user, instant issue card processing, and RCM card processing.
Assists with the inventory control of debit card stock and the coordination of shipments to the branch network for instant issuance.
Maintains payment operations runbooks and process flow documents ensuring all are updated annually or more often as necessary.
Assists with the preparation of annual wire and ACH program compliance and effectiveness reports to the Senior Management Group and the Board Risk assessment.
Participates as a subject matter expert in institutional and department projects collaborating across business lines to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and implemented without issue.
Cultivates and maintains relationships across all business lines acting as the subject matter expert regarding deposit payments processes and platforms.
Ensure all functions of the department are covered up to and including directly supporting the payments operation team by performing tasks to cover any employee who is not present.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Collaboration with both our internal and external service and support staff. By working closely together, we can ensure seamless workflow management and drive efficiencies across all processes.

Work with the Quality Control Manager including internal service and support staff to ensure all documentation is completed accurately including signed documents and collecting minimum payments. All signed documents meet the agency's standards.
Ensure that the agency management system (Applied) is updated with the most recent and accurate client information.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal and external departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
Act as a liaison between clients and various agency departments to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
Professional Representation:
Always represent the agency with the highest level of professionalism.
Uphold the agency's values and commitment to exceptional client service in every interaction.
Maintain an active insurance license and stay informed about industry regulations and updates.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
Property & Casualty license required.

Primary Purpose:

Facilitate the taking of mortgage applications as necessitated by customer and assigned mortgage loan officers including collecting correct and complete supporting documentation.

Banking Operations
Able to quickly learn and adhere to all policies and procedure related to branch operations to include, but not be limited to, check cashing, deposit taking, settlement, account opening, debit card issuance, branch opening and closing, audit requirements, compliance requirements, vault and ATM management, and other such functions.
As all Salem Five retail positions are required to have ‘universal' branch banking skills, must have / develop a full working knowledge of both the traditional ‘sales' and ‘teller' functions and routinely perform both.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma, or equivalent required. Two years' experience in a retail or banking environment required, supervisory experience preferred. This position is eligible to be a ‘key-holder' and when designated as such, is entrusted as a member of the branch's management team, opening/closing the branch as schedules dictate. In the absence of a Manager and/or Assistant Manager, serves as the ‘manager on duty.' In a management capacity, uses sound judgement and makes policy decisions as necessary. Participates in the interview, hiring, and development of junior branch staff positions and serves as a trainer and coach for same. Proven success in delivering a superior experience in a customer-centric environment.

The Business Banking Credit Analyst conducts detailed research on the financial history of businesses and individuals to determine their creditworthiness-adequacy of repayment resources and collateral. They review and verify income statements, tax returns and other financial documents to develop a borrower's profile and arrive at a credit recommendation, per Bank product guidelines and loan policies and procedures. Decisions made on issuing new loans or lines of credit are, in part, based on the credit analyst's recommendation. The BB Credit Analyst works closely with loan officers and may assist them with verifying the accuracy of loan applications, in addition to working with BB team members in a collaborative environment. BB Credit Analyst may also propose revisions to the credit limits or interest rates on the existing loans of qualified borrowers. Credit underwriting for Business Banking as well as potential Middle Market accounts may also be required (time permitting), in addition to some reporting responsibilities.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:
Analyze and underwrite various loans and loan commitments to ensure that they adhere to existing policy guidelines, regulatory guidelines and documentation requirements to adequately ensure security of collateral.
This position has individual approval authority as outlined by the bank's loan policy as well as joint approval authority with the team's other underwriter/analyst.
Administers and reviews existing credits to protect the quality and profitability of the loan portfolio.
Identifies potential problem loans and monitors their progress as part of watch list process.
Assist in identifying and developing and implementing “best practices” for the BB Lending Department with an objective of standardization, where practical, of approach and process throughout the Division.
Promote the company's presence through participation and attendance at various civic and charitable events/organizations.
Participation in special projects assigned in order to assist with growth/improvement BB loan portfolio, as assigned.
Compliance with banking laws and regulations as defined in company policies and procedures pertinent to position.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Previous credit training/underwriting experience is required.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Business undergraduate degree with relevant finance and accounting course work preferred.
