Benefits, lots of paid holidays, PTO
Poor overall upper management, immature inexperienced non licensed middle management who act like high schoolers, no structure but lots of micro managing, no proper onboarding procedures, no nonsense zoom meeting that just waste time and HR needs a total revamp. The insurance division acquisitions are growing but the employee numbers are dwindling... this place is just not worth it
Health and dental benefits, the employees, the 13 paid holidays
The insurance division has no leadership....
Get rid of the current managers in woburn, danvers and lynn
The insurance division is desperate, show some interest and you get a job
Slightly less than what other companies offer
The employees are great and you can be yourself
Pleasant coworkers, supportive management who truly care, encourage work life balance, acknowledgement via bonus or raises, and and open door policy without the retaliatory consequences
The only positive part of this place are the people you work with.
DO NOT WORK HERE! Salem Five has no work/life balance. The upper management in the mortgage company is currently an utter disaster. Sales managers running operations into the ground expecting to make loans work when there is no way to make them work all for the sake of keeping the loan officers happy.
While the benefits at the bank are adequate, there is a lot of disparate treament going on and since the culture at the bank is heavily male dominate with no repect given to the women that work there you can be the star but will always be overlooked because a man wants to be promoted.
Coworkers
Management, pay, culture. Mortgage company is in disarray. No leadership or direction. Inequality for female employees. New employees with personal relationships to management get hired and promoted over long term employees
Holidays off
Friendly and respectful work environment
Rude customers and some days where nothing would happen
Good entry level pay
