Summary
Carolina CAT Power Systems Division is currently seeking a Rental Sales Rep (RSR) - Temperature Control Specialist. The RSR - Temperature Control Specialist is expected to have extensive consultativesales experience in temperature control knowledge is a plus. This position requires knowledge of application design, sizing and installation requirements. Applicants also need to have an accurate understanding of the target customers, their needs and issues. A positive and energetic approach is needed to assure success in meeting both the client expectations and those of the Power Systems Team. Reporting to the General Rental Manager, duties and responsibilities of the position includes direct rental sales of all temperature control related equipment, including chillers, air conditioners, heaters, (electric and indirect fire), dehumidifiers plus additional accessories/ancillaries required.
Temperature Control/generator packages (turnkey solutions) capabilities included.
The Power Systems Rental Sales Representative- Temperature Control Specialist is the field contact for customers. Candidates will have the responsibilities of managing job sites, courting new customers, servicing customer accounts, conducting office and job-site calls and securing industrial accounts.
Essential Functions
* Candidate will interface with customer base while building strong and lasting relationships.
* Qualify customer rental potential and determine rental needs, plus maintain customer lists and data.
* Prepare rental quotations, oversee order entry and project manage major rental projects.
* Coordinate with Service Department on rental startups, testing and equipment operation.
* Have market awareness with respect to competition, new technical advances and pricing for comparable products and services.

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking an HVAC Sales Representative. The HVAC Sales Rep is critical to the overall growth and profitability of the HVAC Service business. The candidate chosen will be responsible for initiating, establishing and building profitable service relationships between new customers and FirstCall Mechanical.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows a disciplined and professional process to identify, target and qualify prospective new customers; takes advantage of market conditions and networks effectively to uncover new leads and contacts.
Contacts prospective customers and schedules appointments
Builds a referral network to identify new customers
Conducts sales calls crafted to identify key sources of problems and/or dissatisfaction confronting Facility Directors in operating and maintaining heating/cooling, ventilation and control system equipment
Develops a sense of urgency to resolve needs and positions FirstCall Mechanical as the supplier of choice

* Assist customers to achieve healthy, comfortable, safe environments by asking questions to find out what their needs are.
* Obtain customer authorized agreement for all jobs.
* Complete proposals and price jobs to our customers within the guidelines set forth by the Company standards.
* Actively pursue referrals from satisfied customers.
* Follow up site visits to assure quality, and 100% customer satisfaction
* Ensure profitability of the department by accurately proposing all jobs, using book pricing, with the emphasis on quality and value.
* Review all jobs with the department manager.
* Communicate with our support staff, in a timely and efficient manner details of jobs, financing and job scheduling.
* Submit via email pictures and required forms in a timely fashion and describe in detail specifications to finish the job as was promised to the customer.
* Communicate to Installers the job requirements and expectations of the customer through verbal communication, pictures, drawings, and written forms.
* Maintain contact with Installers and customers during installation to ensure a quality system is installed.
* Prospect for new customers by outbound calling or contact neighbors of recent installation customers to increase customer base and personal income.
* Attend and participate in regular scheduled sales meetings, special sales training and technician technical training meetings on relevant topics.
What you need:
* 2-3 years of Sales experience.
* 1 years of HVAC experience preferred
* Must be 21 or older
* Valid US Driver's License
* Must pass a drug screen, background, and motor vehicle check
* Physical dexterity
* Flexible working hours day/nights/weekends
