The Specialty Pharmaceutical Sales Representative is responsible for driving demand and adoption of a branded eye care product within a defined territory. This role focuses on building trusted relationships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and key eye care decision-makers through clinical selling, education, and strategic account management.

Key Responsibilities
Achieve or exceed sales goals within an assigned eye care territory
Promote a specialty pharmaceutical product to ophthalmologists, optometrists, and key eye care staff
Deliver clear, compliant, and compelling product messaging supported by clinical data
Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), high-prescribing accounts, and emerging practices
Execute territory business plans aligned with brand strategy and regional goals
Identify market opportunities, account needs, and access dynamics

Bachelor's degree required (science or business preferred)
Pharmaceutical sales experience

Promoveo Health, a leading Pharmaceutical Sales recruiting, and contract sales company has an outstanding position representing one of our strategic clients. Our client is a rapidly growing organization with a very strong presence in the Veterinary Medicine field.
This is a position where you will be a W2 employee of Promoveo Health.
The Veterinary Sales Representative will be responsible for revenue growth within your specified geographic region. You will be accountable for a sales revenue plan in the clinical (office based) markets. This role requires strong account management and selling skills, as you will be the selling interface between the accounts and the company.
The ideal candidate will have:
· 5+ years of Veterinary Pharmaceutical Sales either on the Pharmaceutical or Distributor side
· Clinical experience calling on Veterinary Practices in this market
· Experience calling on and existing relationships with Vets in the area
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, teaching and negotiation skills
· BS Degree in related discipline
Job Expectations:
·Part time position with high management visibility and performance expectations.
· Travel - You will be home every night- no overnight travel is required!

How you'll make an impact
Develops and acquires new business revenue through sales to new and existing clients with emphasis on small to mid‑size companies with high revenue.
Provides service to clients according to their needs, retaining them as clients.
Participate in team sales situations with other producers and support personnel.
May manage overall client relationships and is supported by day‑to‑day account management.
Assist, educate and develop other staff members in new client sales situations and existing client service requirements.
Applies industry technologies to new sales, additional sales to existing clients and account service.
Provides direction in account transfer situations.
Prepares and implements an individual business plan and production budget.
Develops and maintains interdivision/intercompany relationships consistent with our corporate culture.
About You
Required: Bachelor's degree, 1 year related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing required OR Bachelor's degree, participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP), and appropriate insurance licensing required OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years experience.
Preferred: Professional designation may be preferred, including CEBS, CPCU, CIC or ARM.
Behaviors: Act independently with minimal direction. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
