This position involves utilizing data, including results from the Student Well-being and Competency Survey, to inform and develop strategies aimed at reducing chronic absence rates by 5% annually. The coordinator will also lead the NMPED Attendance Awareness Campaign, manage a comprehensive program evaluation, and foster two-way communication with families to ensure student success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide training and consultation services to sites regarding attendance Provide training and support on the use of software programs, including managing all aspects of the attendance program Provide weekly updates and quarterly reports to the supervisor regarding activities, needs, and trainings provided Work with schools to ensure adherence to district and school Attendance Improvement Plans. Coordinate and/or deliver professional development as needed regarding chronic absenteeism and attendance Work in conjunction with all other district coaches and coordinators to develop effective interventions for students, and support for teachers and principals Monitor timelines to assure that the PDSA cycle is ongoing, prompt, and effective. Ensure compliance with all state guidelines Monitor the CCSD Attendance Improvement Plans to ensure that all processes and procedures are followed, and all documentation is in place. Provide technical assistance to schools in the interpretation and use of student data to identify attendance gaps. Develop intensive intervention goals and progress monitoring analysis of average daily attendance and chronic absenteeism. Collaborate with the academic departments on the student referral process. Maintain school visitation calendar to reflect services provided to each school weekly. Provide guidance and support on the development and implementation of the district and school Attendance Improvement Plans. Collaborate with school principals to address staff development needs identified in 90-day plans. Reporting & Data Analysis: Prepare and submit comprehensive monthly reports showcasing progress toward grant outcomes. Collect and analyze data, including chronic absence rates, and provide evidence of ongoing quality improvement. A key part of this is using data from the statewide Student Well-being and Competency Survey to inform attendance strategies. Implement and manage the Attendance Intervention Suite (AIS) program across all designated sites to proactively track, analyze, and address student attendance trends. Program & Campaign Management: Actively participate in the NMPED Attendance Awareness Campaign, utilizing provided materials to promote attendance throughout the school year. Be responsible for developing and implementing new strategies aimed at reducing chronic absence rates by at least 5% annually, and tracking progress towards this goal. Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate and participate in on-site visits to schools at least once a year. During these visits, gather feedback from students, teachers, and district staff to inform future support plans. Establish and maintain consistent, two-way communication channels with families and students regarding attendance. Program Evaluation: Develop and manage a robust program evaluation plan. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Assist and conduct counter sales as needed and as required. • Process all incoming internal and external customer inquiries via phone, fax, email, mail, or online, and assist outside sales in quotes and/or orders. • Input customer orders, quotes, bid, etc. for products. • Purchase of product to fill said orders. • Quote and sell our supplier's products that provide value to our customers and a fair profit to the Company. • Identify, contact, provide quotes, and close orders on potential and targeted customers. • Use electronic and published catalogs to provide product, pricing and availability information to customers. • Solve or request management's assistance to quickly solve customers' problems. • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sales items as well as new products. • Promote and sell overages and discontinued items. • Handle customer complaints and returns, while showing a positive attitude. • Provide after-hours support for internal and external customers, as needed. • Maintain and expand knowledge of Purvis products, so that these products can be presented professionally to our customers and potential customers. • Obtain knowledge of competition's pricing provided to customers, along with their products, financial data, sales numbers, and profit margins. • Provide the best service in the industry to our customers. • Adherence and compliance with the company's Certificate of Conflicts of Interest, Confidentiality and Standards of Business Ethics, and Hiring Standards. • Delivers superior customer service. • Effective listening and good phone skills. • Able to handle difficult customers with diplomacy and tact. • Team player who works productively with wide range of people. • Professional demeanor. • Comfortable in fast-paced environment. • Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures. • Understand basic inventory, warehousing, and stocking procedures. • Accuracy and attention to detail. • Technical expertise and knowledge of company products. • Demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniques. Requirements • Employee must be able to lift product up to 70 pounds on a daily basis. • Heavy products are stocked from ground height to 6' in height. • Product to be delivered must be lifted into back of trucks approximately 3' height for ¾ ton truck and 4' height for large trucks. • Ability to climb stairs with products in hand to be delivered at customer locations or at our location. • Legally Authorized to work in the US. • Must be able to pass a background check.
