You'll be traveling across the country - often on short notice - supporting deployments, installations, and customer engagements in diverse environments ranging from datacenters to corporate campuses. --- Responsibilities - Assist in implementing and supporting Fortinet, Cisco, Dell, and Verkada technologies. - Perform on-site work such as racking and stacking, cable pulling, and termination. - Configure and troubleshoot network switches, firewalls, and access points. - Support camera and access control deployments across customer environments. - Manage and oversee subcontractors during on-site implementation projects. - Stage and prepare equipment at the Austin office before deployment. - Travel to customer sites across the U.S. (up to 80%) for project work and support. - Communicate project progress, timelines, and updates clearly to management and customers. - Maintain detailed documentation of installations, configurations, and site work. - Manage your own time effectively and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule. --- Required Qualifications - 1-3 years of hands-on IT, networking, or field engineering experience. - Strong mechanical aptitude - comfortable with cabling, physical installations, and hardware setup. - Basic understanding of networking (IP addressing, VLANs, subnets, etc.). - Willingness to travel frequently (by car or air) and work independently in the field. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Ability to adapt quickly, troubleshoot issues, and work under limited supervision. - Must reside in the Austin area and be able to come into the office for equipment staging and team collaboration. - Active CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent networking knowledge. - Active Fortinet Certification and/or equivalent security knowledge. --- Preferred Skills - Experience with or interest in learning: - Fortinet, Cisco, Dell, Rapid7, Tenable, Auvik and Verkada technologies. - Network cabling and structured wiring. - Firewall configuration and basic security principles. - Experience in customer-facing or service-oriented roles. - Project coordination or subcontractor management experience. --- Soft Skills and Expectations - Eager to learn and grow into a modern security and infrastructure engineer. - Self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and projects. - Comfortable balancing field work with technical problem-solving. - Excellent communicator who can represent the company professionally on-site. - Adaptable, proactive, and dependable under pressure. --- Why Join Olezka Global - Opportunity to grow your career into a Senior Security Engineer or Project Management - Direct hands-on exposure to industry-leading technologies and customer environments. - Competitive pay with bonus potential and advancement opportunities. - A family-like culture that values teamwork, growth, and integrity. - Work with a supportive team that encourages independence and professional development. - Be part of a fast-growing MSSP delivering cutting-edge solutions nationwide. --- To Apply: Submit your résumé and a brief statement about your career goals and relevant experience.
