This position assists with operations and programming of an aquatic complex at an assigned Rec Center. Responsibilities include conducting inspections of aquatic facility and equipment and ensuring facility compliance with all regulations, directing, and responding to emergency situations, as well as recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating instructors, lifeguards, and volunteers. This position oversees staff coverage, customer service, pool operations, and pool facility maintenance in addition to planning, designing, scheduling, implementing, and evaluating recommendations for improvement of aquatic program of classes, rentals and general public operations for all ages and abilities.
