The Area Sales Manager position will provide business development, sales, and technical support to customers and potential customers throughout their assigned area. Assists the Ergon's Technical Marketing Manager in identifying, coordinating, participating, and supporting the establishment and maintenance of relationships with key state, district, and local specifying agencies' personnel. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, exhibiting/sponsoring at industry trade shows, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional and industry associations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Takes ownership of the business in his/her area. Provides communication to operations on forecasting and current status on volume. Services customers to include visits to all levels of the key customers. This includes senior management, project estimators, project managers, and project foremen.
