What You Will Do:
* Generate and execute sales plans in existing customer base and in assigned competitively-held accounts, to meet profit increase goals. Target sales time will be approximately 20-30%
* Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales
* Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives
* Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required

Territory/Location Information:
* This position is based in Watertown, SD. Watertown would be optimal. Job could be performed from Brookings, SD or Sioux Falls, SD also but would require more overnight travel.
* Territory covers about a 180-mile radius of the surrounding area
* Targeted accounts are within the grain oil and biofuels (GOBs), protein and dairy industries
* 10-20% overnight travel required

Minimum Qualifications:

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The total Compensation range for this position is $79,000-$118,400 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Qualifications:
* Five (5) years of progressively responsible, broad-based, commercial construction sales experience and/or commercial or industrial business to business distribution sales experience
* Self-starter, highly motivated and goal-oriented individual with leadership and salesmanship skills

What You'll Do:
Help customers find the perfect fishing boat or pontoon based on their needs and experience
Walk buyers through features, options, rigging possibilities, and accessories
Build strong relationships with new and returning customers
Deliver a top-tier buying experience from first contact to final delivery
Maintain product knowledge on leading brands and current fishing/boating trends
What We're Looking For:
Sales experience (marine, powersports, RV, automotive, or similar preferred)
Fishing knowledge - species, techniques, electronics, gear, seasonal patterns
Boating experience - operation, safety, rigging basics, outboard knowledge
Strong communication and people skills
Self-driven, organized, and team-oriented
Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a drug screen.
