Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to water damage leads and conduct empathetic, professional on-site assessments.
Educate the customer on the scope of damage and confidently present recommended mitigation services.
Secure customer authorization and initiate service agreements - converting the opportunity into a job.
Document findings and recommendations using our software system (Xcelerate), including moisture readings, photos, and job notes.
Coordinate with Dispatch and Technicians to ensure timely job setup and proper communication handoff.
Maintain consistent communication with customers, insurance adjusters, and team members throughout the job lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Experience: Sales experience in restoration, in-home services, construction, or related field preferred.
Skills: Ability to build trust quickly in high-stress situations; excellent communication skills; comfortable using technology and mobile apps for job documentation and communication
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, IICRC certifications (cleaning and restoration certification) required
Valid Drivers license and clean driving record
Must be able to lift/move 50-75 lbs and occasionally work in confined or moisture-damaged environments.

About the Role
Hamilton Building Supply is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Outside Sales Associate - Philadelphia/Mainline Territory to join our team. The Outside Sales Associate will drive new business, grow existing accounts and leverage our production lines to sell a wide range of building materials - including lumber, windows, doors, decking and railing, trim, siding and DURATION Moulding & Millwork - directly to builders, remodelers, general contractors, subcontractors, and architects. The position plays a key role in supporting our customers through every phase of their projects by product expertise, design solutions, and exceptional service.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with professional and homeowner customers.
Maintain constant contact and business development efforts with all assigned customer accounts.
Communicate new product and service offerings from HBS to the customer base.
Be proficient in construction plan take-offs, project walk-throughs, measuring, and product specifying.
Establish project/product budgets and provide customized solutions to close business.
Utilize specified target margins to establish pricing guidelines.
Collaborate closely with Inside Sales Associates to ensure accurate and timely communication to customers.
Provide material estimates and proposals and follow up regularly with customers.
Manage every aspect of a customer's project from inception to completion.

Work with the VP of Business Development to develop unique customer loyalty and pricing programs.
Maintain an organized workspace, project files, and priorities.
Utilize automated reports to monitor customer account activity and purchasing history.
Qualifications
At least five years of building material sales or construction related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Strong level of proficiency with desktop computing tools such as Microsoft Office Applications, POS systems and related software
Ability to use the internet in a business capacity.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

About The Job:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Consultant based in Southern New Jersey. We are growing and seeking a driven Sales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you'll work directly with customers at pre-set appointments to evaluate roofing needs, recommend solutions, and guide customers through repair or replacement options that protect their investment and improve long-term performance.
As a Sales Consultant, you'll serve as a trusted advisor, conducting inspections with drones, educating clients on materials and processes, and helping them make confident, informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site roof assessments during set appointments for residential and commercial clients
Recommend roofing repair, replacement, and maintenance solutions
Build and maintain relationships with roofing contractors, builders, remodelers, and architects
Educate customers on roofing materials, systems, warranties, and best practices
Deliver product presentations and basic training sessions
Prepare estimates, proposals, and pricing recommendations
Monitor competitive activity within the territory
Respond to customer inquiries and complete administrative follow-ups
Submit weekly activity and market reports
Represent the company at industry events and meetings
Follow all company safety, vehicle, and operational guidelines
