The sales specialist is responsible for understanding and identifying customer needs, aligning marketing resources and supporting pull-through activities. The Overlay Team partners with other territory level sales specialists to enhance value and visibility to top potential accounts. Collaboration, teamwork, strategic-mindset and willingness to partner with territory level sales specialists and regional managers to provide additional insight and influence is a must. The Overlay Neuroscience Sales Specialist will develop superior product and disease state knowledge that allows them to compliantly engage in in-depth clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals. Additionally, they will have responsibility for the creation of local strategic and tactical plans, differential resource allocation, and accountability for effective application of budget and expense management within their assigned territory. Job Responsibilities Following compliance guidelines, drives sales performance to ensure sales forecasts are met or exceeded within assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers both in-person and virtually. Maintains current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers. Using this information for development of business plans. Works with Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives. Capitalizes on formulary approvals and other business opportunities through effective implementation of the strategic plan. Collaborates with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and sharing of best practices. Complete all company and job-related training as assigned within the required timelines. Must have Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university as well as a valid driver's license and safe driving record. Must have strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers. Ideal candidate emulates patient-centricity. Must act with high integrity and always in accordance with the Company's Compliance policies and procedures. We are proud our sales consultants earn an average annual salary of $40,000 to $64,000, combining a base hourly rate plus uncapped commission. We provide paid training and a guaranteed ramp-up rate during your first 60 days of employment. Employees accrue paid time off each pay period at a rate of no less than 40 hours per year for their first year and 80 hours per year each year thereafter. You are entitled to minimum requirements for paid sick leave under appropriate state law if applicable.
