Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for Professional Services Senior Developers to work with our clients to gather requirements, document solution design, configure the Salesforce application, and ensure successful engagements and project go-lives through disciplined project management.
Specific Duties
-Execute declarative Salesforce application configuration
-Use Apex and VisualForce to create unique customer-based solutions
-Ability to lead client projects and internal team
-Expert in solution design and system architecture
-Interact directly with our customers and the Acumen team, including consultants, architects and sales to ensure customer success
-Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment
-Build salesforce.com product extensions using Visualforce technology
-Develop new native products on the force.com platform
Qualifications
-Five+ years of software development experience, ideally in a consulting environment
-Two+ years experience with Salesforce.com
-Strong technical design skills and an ability to deliver customer driven solutions
-Motivated to learn new software as a service technologies
-Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal is required
-Development experience with JSP/ ASP, Java, HTML language is required
-Development experience with Apex and Visualforce is desired
-Salesforce.com Certifications (Dev-401, Dev-501) preferred, but not required
-College degree required
-Have a passion for solving customer's challenges with software
-Have a natural curiosity and desire to learn new business processes and technologies
-Be a creative and analytical thinker
-Have a desire and ability to solve complex business processes with software
-Be highly driven and able to self manage in a fast paced environment

Workplace Type: This position will be staffed as full-time equivalent (FTE). Work will be completed on-site at a government facility in Washington DC.
Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
The main responsibilities of the role include:
Maintain Server installation and operating system updates; Track, manage and sustain Platform Server modifications, updates, modifications, patches; Provide Server and/or Platform support for customers.
Identify, propose, manage, install, configure, sustain and support third party (integrated) application required to support the platform. Tactical Awareness Kit Interagency Operability USSS - Standard Sensitive Info.
Manage and maintain all patches to ensure Security Compliance Provide technical support for application, appliance, device support and/or troubleshooting of the platform, third party applications associated to the platform and end user devices/appliances.
Coordinate with, and support Application Development teams working within the USSS for updates required for platform functionality.
Coordinate with and support Mobile Device Management teams withing within the USSS needed for platform, application and/or end user appliances.
Support installations, diagnosis, updates and sustainment of enterprise workstations. • Support the development of system administration policy, requirements and daily maintenance procedures and support activities.
Support the creation of maintenance plans, operational procedures, how to guidance, program documentation used by support technicians, users, help desk etc.
Support the integrate platform servers in small team and mission planning systems upon request by agency program managers.
Provide recommendations and support efforts to coordinate capability enhancements developed by the Department of Defense to receive operational approvals, certifications, and internal agency approvals needed for implementation.
Document newly identified mission cap based on emerging technology improvements/enhances and submit to agency program managers for review and potential integration to the current platform.
Qualifications:
Expertise Level: Junior
Experience: 1 year IT Server Administration experience.
Experience Needed: Azure Cloud computing, Linux Environments (Red Hat / CentOS), Windows Environments, VMware Environments, Network Security, Mobile Applications (iOS / Android), Mobile Device Management, Integrated and tactical Radio Networks, Geospatial / Mapping caching servers.
