Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Perform system administration for Oracle Linux systems critical to manufacturing operations.
Support Oracle databases (11g, 19c) across development and production environments including upgrades, refreshes and migrations.
Assist with PHP scripts and Pro C for data processing between systems
Gain exposure to security practices including SSL certificates, SSH file transfers, password hashing, firewall policies, and network segmentation.
Participate in data analysis, data modelling and documentation to support business processes.
Monitor database performance and help ensure system availability and security.
Support backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Assist with database integration with other business systems.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand and improve processes.
Participate in compliance and audit activities with guidance from senior staff.
Participate in project activities, including requirements, planning, documentation, and testing.
Contribute to innovation and process improvement initiatives.
Pursue continuous learning, consistent with evolving job requirements and technology / organizational changes

Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
Demonstrate knowledge of the practical application of systems and technology. This includes knowledge of systems architecture, hardware, operations, and life cycle.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or a related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
