About the Role:
As our Senior SalesforceAdministrator and a key member of the Revenue Operations team, you will own the Salesforce platform and broader RevTech ecosystem, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and aligned with our revenue strategy. Summary: The SalesforceAdministrator's role is to help CTF realize the full capability of the CRM. This position will work to create operational efficiencies for gift processing and stewardship by improving mapping, integrations and data integrity.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment
Work with the Director of Donor Database Operations to prioritize organizational reporting needs
Improve fundraising application integrations and mapping
Operate Tier 2 technical support for staff
Collaborate with the Communications team to prepare Salesforce data for Snowflake integration as well as Marketing Cloud journey mapping / campaigns
Handle all basic administrative functions including user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields and other routine tasks

Identify, install and maintain appropriate apps from the AppExchange for event management, mass email, donation handling, and more
Train new users and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization
Document customizations made in Salesforce
Implement and maintain Salesforce customizations such as custom fields and objects, layouts, workflows, process builder, and validation rule
Participate in the planning and analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements
As a member of the gift processing team, manage data clean up best practices and perform uploads for events that do not have direct mapping
Must perform manual gift entry during high volume seasons
Education
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
5+ years of SalesforceAdministrator experience in a Nonprofit organization
Current Salesforce certifications
Have hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning

This role administers the sales systems (Salesforce), reporting, and forecasting ensuring that sales teams have the tools, insights, and processes they need to perform at their best.

Salesforce Platform Administration
Integrate and manage supporting sales tools, including ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Pardot (Account Engagement), Introhive, Outlook Integration and e-signature or proposal platforms (e.g., DocuSign, Conga)
Configure and customize Salesforce using declarative tools (Flows, Validation Rules, Dynamic Pages, Custom Report Types)
Maintain profiles, permission sets, licenses, roles, and sharing settings to ensure proper data access and compliance
Manage release updates and assist with testing new salesforce features
Work cross-functionally with developers and architects to deliver enhancements to production environment.
Participate in UAT and release deployment activities
Assist with import, update, clean and transform data activities using Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, or third-party tools
User Enablement & Support
Partner with sales, marketing and client services teams to align Salesforce functionality with business needs and to ensure smooth data flow and reporting alignment
Support daily operational requests such as user setup, record updates, and troubleshooting
Data Management & Reporting
Partner with IT and data teams to maintain CRM-data alignment with the data warehouse, ensuring reliable and consistent metrics across systems
Assist in maintaining data integrity, manage user access, and ensuring governance standards are followed to ensure accurate reporting
Assist with the development and release of reports and dashboards for performance tracking and executive visibility
Supervisory responsibilities
May lead and supervise subordinate team members
